I reckon it is BS about popularity. More likely they were waiting for sponsors which never happened, no success on the field and all the other **** happening meant it was put on the back burner and hoped people would forget about it!!

Blades have been very good to us/ for us over the last few. The 'shade' of blue on the jerseys is great, the training singo's are comfy as ****. And ive got a few of their team jackets (the kinda shiny hoodie).

Blade's have been unbelievable. They sponsored us when no one else would. They have endlessly promoted the team and Gal. Made some top notch gear. They gave us the best jersey at the Auckland Nines.

All we've give then is two hoops filled unsponsored years of jerseys.

I've bought more Blades gear then ISC, Nike, Reebok and Puma combined.
