In your head, rent free
the away jersey looks **** with the panel going diagonal and the sponsorship going straight across

how hard would it be to put it on an angle?

I would say the designer wanted the ads on an angle and commercial didn't let it happen because the sponsors didn't want it. Really the designer should have foreseen it. It is a bad design and conforming to a bad design isn't something sponsors should have to do.

The hoops away jersey looks better anyway. Don't know why they fix what isn't broken. Oh that's right, ego of the designer.

Sales of new jerseys, that's all it is. I'd be quite happy sticking with the one jersey that never changes. Don't ever see the likes of Collingwood, Richmond etc changing their main jersey every couple of years.

Have an alternate jersey that is only used when there's a clash.

We have owned our colours long enough that we shouldn't have to change for clashes anyway? Maybe Bulldogs?

I don't mind having to wear an alternative jersey if there's a clash and we're the away team, that's fine. Other than that though, stick with the hoops jersey, keep it simple and leave it alone.

Yep i dont know why, when the titans were brought into the league they were allowed a sky blue and white combo.

Theres a market for many combos, black white yellow for example. Although if there is a colour combo that isnt being used, warriors probably have it as an alternate already

I still would like to see us use the old style white V with the blue jersey every now and then. Simple and a nod to the clubs beginnings.

Me too. Its a ripper.

I think Newcastle always make their last regular season home game an 'Old Boys' game where they celebrate their past players and glories etc. Former players get invited back and they get all nostalgic. Even if they're going badly it makes for a good event that attracts crowds (plus they usually seem to win). I reckon we should do the same and the jersey you mentioned could get a run at that game every year.

They weren't. Their original colours were teal and orange (think Dolphins). To this day you can still find teddy bear mascots wearing the real original jersey in Rebel Sport bargain bins.

It's just one of those things where something was set and along the way it was inexplanibity changed, and no ones ever questioned it.

Totally different franchises though aren't they?
