Didn’t know where else to put this...

I was going through a big box of old family stuff that hasn’t been touched since my parents separated 30 years ago. Came across a small envelop stacked with old footy cards from 1967. Some nice Sharkies cards of the first team, as well as every other team and then individual cards of all the captains.



Does anyone know where these originated from? Would love to know heir origin. I imagine they came with a newspaper or something.

They do go for some good $$ (approx $250-300) for all the cards

Wow that’s a epic find. Would be good to see of them if you could post more pics.

Yeah I’ll get some pics and post them all later. My dad always mentioned there was a set of cards floating around somewhere that he collected, assumed he was talking out his arse or lost them in a gambling debt. Haha. Stoked they are from ‘67.

Yeah no way I’ll ever sell them. Looks like there are a couple missing which it’s now my goal to complete the set. Ebay and a few collectors forums seems to have them available.

Pre sale of indigenous is expected to start May 6th for mid May delivery.
Home jerseys May sometime.
Kokoda jerseys pre sale end of May for June delivery.
Alternative June availability.

It's like they've thought "OK we've got the front filled, lets just leave the back blank, when people buy them they only look at the front".
Surly they could have fire sold the 2 spots at the back to a local business just to get it filled for the fans before manufacture
