I can't see us a having a shot on goal. We won't get out of our own half against spain

0-3 Aus v Spain
2-2 Aus v Holland
2-1 Aus v Chile

I hope we go that well.

I have a feeling vidal and sanchez will have a hand in at the very least two goals against us. The dutch could put out 3 teams comfortably better than ours and the spanish probably have 6-7 better top 11's than us and that's probably being generous to us.

I suggest we watch mourinhos park the bus tactics very closely. Just a shame our best attacking player in kruse is injured anyway.

Ok guys, I know nothing about soccer, but I had a wager on Portugal to win... Before you crucify me, my reasoning was...

Portugal are ranked number 3 in the world

They should be on the different side of the draw to Brazil

They have that Ronaldo bloke, he is the world's best yeah?

I got really good odds.

Are they any chance?

We have to remember that in the 2010 World Cup New Zealand had their own group of death with Paraguay, Slovakia and Italy. They didn't get through the group stage but they didn't lose a game either, having three draws. Obviously their group is nowhere as bad as ours but they were expected to lose all three and didn't.

To me no, ronaldo would really have to carry them to be any chance and spain Germany brazil are just too strong.

Anything can happen though.
