The refs are so bad that it's a wonder the site hasn't crashed from all the posts of rage and anger!

some **** calls, thought Grahams hit on Hoffman was alright, however if itd gone the other way we'd blow up.

I just hate how Refs like to even up the penalty count a little, a tough game then a few petty penalties get blown.

Also, on Grahams hit, that would be allowed in origin, but then they call origin tougher than club games, thats why, they allow it to be

all games should be allowed to be played with origin intensity. all this pussy footing and molly coddling makes the game look ****in piss weak. if it would pass in origin it should pass at class level. the game needs to turn the clock back 20 years.

That hit Graham did on Hoffman that lead to our should have been 4th try was a legitimate hit surely, he had his hand out about to blow the whistle aswell.

The stripping rule needs to be reviewed aswell, that wasent a strip, he knocked it on, anyone could see that

I am probably being paranoid but it felt or looked like the refs were trying as hard as possible to get the Broncos back into it, I hope Flanno has a go at them or wants clarification on some of those calls, if we lose it looks like sour grapes so I reckon say something now even though we won, it may give him some credability if he blows up when we do lose a game & complain about the ref, they cant say "he's only doing it cause they lost".

Thats true, but i guess by the rules and as with Pritchard and Teo, they both got busted for it. If it had been McGuire laying our Wright in the in coals like that, we'd have wanted the penalty too. I can handle that ruling i guess, as I suppose there has been consistancy all year with it, but like i said, in origin theyd call that a big hit, then Gus would start carrying on about how good origin is cos its so tough. Club footy is being made soft

there hasn't been consistency on the high shot rulings though. the ref's reasoning for giving that penalty was "it doesn't matter what makes contact with the head it's still a penalty". that says to me that they can potentially penalise any tackle where the head comes in contact with anything. however, they choose specifically to penalise the ones when the guy stays down. not always is the guy actually seeing stars like last night but to be honest, Hoffman was probably already half way dizzy having copped it on his previous few tackles.

what i'm trying to say is that rule - any contact with the head is a penalty - is open to way too much interpretation and we all know that these refs aren't capable of even making legit rulings on simple rules let alone having their own interpretation of grey rules. this also leaves way too much room for diving: "oh, i felt a slight tap on my chin, if i stay down they'll check it, the video will confirm a contact with the chin, we'll make some easy meters with a kick to touch"

rubbish rule

By the rule book, the ref pointed to the spot! and in the rules once you do that, it is a TRY.
SO it should of been a try and a warning to the player!

Show me the rule/

I thought the whistle would have to be blown at least

Pointing to the spot constitutes a try.

The video ref got in his ear too late.none of the officials on field had a problem.

Badger and his mate Robinson must be sacked for an inept performance, bordering on corupt.

I think it was the Broncos carrying on that made him change it.
I too thought that he couldnt change a call, but i thought the whistle must be blown
