Sharks 2011 Fan Day This Saturday

The Hisense Sharks will be hosting their Fan Day this Saturday between 10am - 1pm on the back fields of Toyota Stadium.

Fans, family and friends are invited to come down and join the team as we prepare for the 2011 Season.

Our First Grade squad will be there signing autographs and having their pictures taken with our fans. Membership packs will also be available for collection from the Membership Stand for those who elected to collect theirs personally.

Our sponsors will also be there launching special sales for all Sharks fans.

The Sharks will also be inviting attendees to participate in a number of activities around the grounds, including:
  • A signing session with the First Grade squad.
  • Tours of the dressing rooms.
  • Membership benefits collections.
  • New merchandise launch with jersey name and number printing available.
  • The Blades/Power Guard Boot & Gear Sale.
  • AMF Bowling inflatables.
  • ARLD clinics.
  • A petting zoo with all your favourite farm animals.
  • The NRL Adrenalin Rush inflatable maze.
  • A "Discover The Fire Engine" display from the local Fire Department.
  • Special sports classes run by the PCYC.
We will also be running a special promotion for one fan to win a signed Sharks jersey and go into the draw to join us on the field at half time of the Sharks final home game of the season.

We invite ALL Sharks fans to join us on this special day.

With our membership base growing every day, this is one opportunity Sharks fans won't want to miss!

From my understanding that became the date by default. I can't remember the circumstances but it was either that day or no day. There's no way the club would have deliberately planned it on the day that knowing that Gal was likely to be missing. I just wish I remembered what the other factors were.

bloody hell whinge whinge whinge. It was a Saturday last year and a Saturday the year before.
If you cant make this one go to the next one.

What about the players that have to get to the fan day that will no doubt be sore after playing the first game of the year the night before.
