Latest update with our team, been here for 1 week 1 player still in hospital after 5 days with broken jaw and swollen head,another player played with rep team today and got carted to hospital with concussion. Thank god we have grog an Mobic to get thru until Monday .

Approx 30 Aust based teams have travelled to Take on 40 to 50 NZ teams in our end of year masters tour trip . We play Sunday, Tuesday,Thursday and Saturday . The footy is average but the drinking is serious. If anyone is interested ill post a report when I return?

Im happy to have Lewis at 5/8. on the down side we will lack a strong kicking game but on the flip side i think it may be a bit wet in the middle and flanno may be looking to bash through the middle with our strong forward pack given manly got bashed around last week. just thoughts ????????

Correct ,they had 4 names I think? giants, seagulls, gladiators then chargers. I'm not sure what years they changed names but I think they were only call gladiators for 1 year and that was in between seagulls and chargers.

I was just happy to play grade , the club went thru a lot of s#it that year, my fav player was Jamie Goddard . Wally as the coach , I spent most of my time in reserves , which was good on one hand because we one more then1 game like firsts.

In 1993 I received $1000 per game playing 1st grade for Gold Coast chargers, I only played 4 games. by the way I think we only one 1 game that year
