Match 2024 NRL Finals Week 1 Melbourne Storm vs Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, 4:05pm Saturday 14th September @ AAMI Park

Well, we went with one less body on the bench and our forward pack were buggered by 60. Lesson learned I hope

Match 2024 NRL Round 27 Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks vs Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, 2pm Sunday 8th September @ Brookvale

Their big defenders are strong defending at A and B. I would like to see us go early in the set with a big forward three passes from the ruck

In a standup tackle where a player passes simultaneously to being called held, it will be called back for PTB. In this case, Katia was tackled and should not have passed. Penalty is accurate

Match 2024 NRL Round 27 Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks vs Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, 2pm Sunday 8th September @ Brookvale

What I don’t understand is, we have played great with four big boppers on the bench. We have absolutely mothered teams. Then, when we’ve only had injuries/suspension and played with just one half in Atko, we have also dominated with the use of our big boys. So why are we now adding a third...

Match 2024 NRL Round 27 Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks vs Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, 2pm Sunday 8th September @ Brookvale

Yeah, I’m not so keen on finishing the season with four losses. I just watch the mini of last week’s game again. I don’t know why. I knew it would make me irritated and it bloody well did!

He may be 115th for errors, but what percentile is that and what percentile is he for carries/minutes. I would say his errors are above average for his input.

I don’t, no. Why would that influence my thinking?

He may not know the entire board. He knows Steve and Dino well enough though. Who is the big time board member? How do they operate and how does their skillset protect the club from the issues it currently and soon will face? https://www.sharks.com.au/about/board-of-directors/

Loftus would be a second best option to Seymour Shaw in my opinion. The fields at the latter are huge and could accomodate grassroots tennis, basketball, netball and more as well as a large stadium, all within pissing distance of Miranda precinct and a train station and a little further to the...

Governments support multi sport programmes. I don’t anticipate those other sports to contribute a lot, but I do see huge value in bringing the top level of those sports in the Shire under the Sharks branding.

I did suggest 25-30. I think any development would want provisions for a potential increase in the future as well.

Cultures are moulded and change. Melbourne AFL clubs haven’t always been averaging crowds of 46,000. Those numbers have increased to that figure now by working on the memberships, match day experience and facilities.

I refuse to believe it isn’t achievable. I don’t see us getting the funding to improve Shark Park to make any suitable difference.

Per my post, I think the club needs to change its thinking. By becoming a multi sports organisation I think Seymour Shaw is a great location to build a new 25-30k stadium. Lots of space for a true multi sport complex servicing tennis, soccer, baseball, softball, basketball, union and of course...

    The Sharks and the Future

I agree with @Gumby . 20k isn’t future proof for what the club needs to be successful. The club really needs to have > 20k walking through the gates each match.
