He signed SJ which moved Moylan which broke Moylan, make sure you credit him that when being high on how we finished with Moylan as 5/8

Plus Moylan was a panic move for Maloney (although the best of the three moves, while at 5/8)
And SJ was the Val Holmes panic moved

These signings I don’t see as the same as Ennis, Lewis et al

Possibly loss of Mooney a bigger factor than how good or bad Flanno was.
Ssh when the big boys are talking.

Sounds like the panic move worked out alright champ

Flanno literally said he didn’t have much of a plan after 2016 regarding recruitment . Ties in with Mooney being at the Knights.

Those ridiculous signings landed us a top 4 spot and deeper into the finals then we’ve ever been since

Can I make another edit Sev ?

We actually came first on points tied with 3 other teams in 18

Or will you try another little cute gotcha moment ?

To be fair Wiz, I haven't once commented on the signings being either good or ridiculous.

I simply said they played for Flanno. That was the correction I was referring too.

I literally said you were right the first time about us being 4th, wouldn't class that as a gotcha personally

Sorry ❤️

SJ was the player I meant, but I don’t even think only having to coach Moylan and Duges for just one year even though we came 4th/tied first is enough to say he achieved what he wanted out of them both.

I just don’t like the waffle

Rumour of Schuster to Titans mid season

Because if there’s one weakness at titans it’s that left backrow spot
Could put him at 5/8.

Or maybe Fifita is going to activate his get out of jail clause

Manly are in a position where they will be chucking in at least 50% of his contract wherever he goes. Could be a decent option for Flanno, who has the cap space to take on more than 50% in exchange for them sending a few promising juniors his way. Someone like Humphreys would be great.

Schuster doesn't really strike me as a flanno player

How do you wind up with Shuster on rep level money before he'd shown anything at FG level? I don't care how promising they are you don't pay em $800k. Surely his questionable attitude traits were noticed by someone sooner. At least other highly paid rookies like Suallii is a focused hard working pro.

I agree. Was more thinking down the lines of whether you could help manly out of their bind in return for something. Given they have the cap space they likely wont be able to spend.

Someone will pay Nelson a lotta money, more than Melbourne are, but unlikely they get what Melbourne have outta him. If he's slacking there he'll slack anywhere.
I think this 'demotion' lowers his value and brings his ego down a bit.
