We don't really have any utilities who would either add something to the team or are first grade ready. Blayke is a comfortable 80 minute ironman and McInnes can fill in if necessary so that rules Berrell out, Dykes hasn't played a NSW Cup game in well over 15 months and looked out of it in the trials and Puru/Atkinson desperately need to be getting game time for the Jets so we can actually have some serviceable depth.

I also just think 4 forwards is the best way to beat this Doggies outfit their forward pack is way smaller than ours and I personally think Hunt/Hazelton off the bench with Brailey toying with the markers and having them run lines will be too much for them. If someone like Sam Healey was in our top 30 I'd be all for him getting a stint at hooker if we have a comfortable lead but I'm pretty sure he's on a TNT.
Yeah - Sharks don’t have a guy like that. Plenty of injury cover within the squad.

could be stung this Friday.
need to be cautious...work hard, don't rest easy and just get the job done this coming Friday.

Indeed. I really want to enjoy my extended weekend. And it starts with a good showing on Friday night.
Ideally, us by 20+, but this early in the season, a win is all I'm asking for.

Remind me what our record is against **** teams over the past couple of years? We'll crush them.

Yeah would take a very off night to lose this one. Thinking Nicho will take the reigns this game and we put 6 + tries on them

Last year round 1, the Dogs got toweled up by Manly... round 2 they travelled to Melbourne and toweled up the Storm.

Was looking at extra GA tickets, wow they've gone up recently...
  • $41.95 for an adult General Admission ticket + $6.90 service fee = $48.85
  • $37.95 for members + $6.90 service fee = $44.85
Makes a $250 GA membership (10 games) look attractive...

What? You're saying it's $42 to sit on the hill?

Yeah at first I thought it might be surge/dynamic pricing, but it’s the same for the Thursday night game against the Dolphins in June…. Good luck filling the stadium then.

If you get the ten game GA membership it’s $25 a game which is close to half the price. I think it will be hard to attract the younger walk up crowd.

Well I guess I won't be taking my son to a game there this year, not paying that much. Will be going to away games.

That's fine if you can make a few games. $48 for a patch of grass is outrageous imo.

Seriously, I bet the hill isn't chockers for every home game. It really should be when capacity is what? 12k?

Yeah it's an easy choice for me to sign up now. But just take the regular 16-25 year old, buying a full year membership is the last thing on their mind. With the GA prices that prohibitive I feel like we will really start to lose that demographic, and any chance of a late walk-up crowd for the quieter games. Then just imagine we start losing...

Welcome to my world. They won’t even let you sniff Suncorp for less than ~$40. Dolphins games at Redcliffe are more affordable, but bloody hard to get tickets for.

That’s why most of the time I end up watching NRL on TV and when I go to the game for a beer with mates it’s a Q Cup game. $5 to get in and $5 beers.

Haven’t been to a Titans game in years but last time I got in free because Bessie Aufoga-Toomaga saw my son and I lining up in Sharks gear and gave us his free ones (was back when he was NYC).

Look at the prices to sharks broncos in june at Suncorp, anything decent is $180+ and only single seats available! The seats around half way are $240 ish. It’s double in the last 3 years!

I also couldn’t get a single ticket undercover for any sharks match this year at home. crazy really. Wanted to bring to family down.

Last year I had to message Dino, he organised me 3 tickets in the Monty porter stand, it was all sell out but there was 10+ spare seats in the MP next to us that I assume the club keep on hand.
