If that is the list... here is the list of players from SG Ball and Flegg in 2023 who we are unsure about (several will have aged out):

Lawson Cotter, Jett Forbes, Tre Fotu, Riley Lester, Shannon Subritzky-Stewart, Nabatiku Utiaro, Zane Watson, Tully Wilton, Noah Lester, Jayden Foye, Paaua Papuni-Abbott, Toataua Porima, Thomas Crossle, Jed Hardy, Jake Hay

We will probably see a few of these names pop up once the NSWRL and QRL open-age comps kick off.

38 players does seem high but not too crazy. Some of those guys will just be extended squad guys who are in their first year of Flegg and may not actually play. They'll train for the year but play for their local teams or at De La Salle.

Taukamo makes 39. Surely Gabreal comes up once the SG Ball season is finished too. Possibly others (McCarthy?). Call it 41 plus anyone else who comes up.... but they might lose a few to the Jets every so often too.

Tigers only named 30 in their squad but would also have some u19's join once that season is done (about 6 weeks into the Flegg season).

SG Ball Highlights Round 4.

Sharks @ 3:45

Team list for Round 5. Still no Pollard.

Jai Davies played last week in #20 (had a head knock round 1) and is back in the #10 this week.

did Pharrell Gray actually play on the wing?
Might have to wait for the highlights, unless samshark or someone else saw the game.

It’s possible one of the centres moved to wing and one of Gray/Catton played centre. Catton I reckon would be quick enough to defend out wider.

@stalefish the highlights aren't up yet, but a few of the photos show Gray outside Gabrael.

Round 5 Highlights. Sharks @ 1:26.

Gray is a weapon on the wing!

Some nice touches from Pollard in this one too. Nice to have him back.

Impressive highlights.

Riley Pollard (in jersey 21) looks like something special. Like a young Chad Townsend :) He did get run over for one try, but the break he made, and the pass selection for the later try to Gabrael were top shelf.

Gabrael looks a class above.

A nice pass from Nikora Williams for another try.

The fullback Sandy also had some very nice touches.

I assume the forwards set it all up, but hard to judge them from the highlights.

Pharrel Gray. Normally a second rower.

Pollard definitely a good prospect. He attacks short sides really well and is developing a nice combo with Gabreal. Had some nice highlights early on in the year too. I was dirty that I didn't get to see him play in the one game that the Sharks had streamed.

I reckon that whoever the left centre and half are in Flegg will need to be pretty bloody good in the next 6 weeks to keep their jerseys after that.

Riolo will be one of the halves I assume, unless he's aged out ? (CBF googling it)

Riolo is still Flegg aged. He will be one of them unless he goes to the Jets.

Maybe Jarvis the other, or Taukamo at 6 is also an option if they want to keep him down there to start.

A few new players too. Some likely halves.

Fuz aged out and went to the Bulldogs.

Just watched highlights, the 20 got burned bad to start but looks to have the pace to be able to defend that, just inexperience in the position I assume. Offensively he looked great, and great in combo with Gabrael too.

Fullback has some good pace on him and agree with others Pollard did look threatening.

Yeah fullback looked good. Moved well.

Taukomo played wing for the Jets in one of the trials didn't he? Feel they'll persist with him being an outside back. Ison will be fullback I assume.

Wing in the first. Five-eighth in the second.
