we got kaufusi for that
Finucane, Uele, Finucane, Kafusi, Hunt provide great front row rotation
Esp if you throw Hazelton & Williams in the there too.
Still feel were missing a gun backrower thou to finish the pack off.

I can totally see where you coming from
Has the size and speed to transition easily - but hes a liability.
But a backrow of Wilton and Ramien could be deadly
I can see this maybe in 2 years time when he gets a but older

And try sign a gun right centre.
Soneone who wouldnt rely on ball from their 2nd rower thou as Ramien doesn't know how to pass
We don't really use either 2nd rower to pass much currently, I don't feel

Nikora currently 10th in NRL and 5th for 2nd rowers for offloads though (14th and 5th by average)

Ramien is 5th in NRL for offloads and 1st for centres (5th and 2nd average) so from a how our 2nd rowers pass perspective Ramien can probably just keep things fairly stable there.

Think you'd have to look game by game to see their pass rate but just one randomly chosen snippet - round 14 Ramien had 6 passes from 15 receipts and Nikora 2 from 12 (and Wilton + Wade 2 was from 13)

Sharks should look at signing PNG Kumuls duo Nixon Putt and Mckenzie Yei, currently playing for Capras

Could even put Kaylan Iro or Reubenn Rennie at centre if we moved Ramien to backrow.

Should sign Marty Tapau for next year. You would think he would know that he isn't gonna get mega bucks now so i reckon offering him a 1-2 year deal at 300k would get him here. He can replace Fifita on the bench.
We signed his younger brother from the Dogs.

Not sure if he’s any good

I feel like most of Nikora's offloads are those junk time, late in the tackle, stalled push-out the back's that don't usually result in anything notable. I'm not even sure now, he's just so uninspiring when he should be reasonably awesome. I think I've alighted from the Nikora train at Teig Station.

...the Nikora train is like the Country Link. You get a little excited by the idea but the experience is a bit bland; there's long waits before hitting a steady speed, with not much to see for aaages...

I can see he's a pretty servicable player who's only young and should have good upside coming through his career, but he's sort of slid into the Woods category of enthusiasm for me right now.

Does feel like even for him a bit of a refresh and shake up somewhere else could be the best thing if he wants to make a jump.

In saying that we are critical because we see him as one of the regular weaker or underperforming starters we have.. but still made NZ team.

I always love seeing Hunt ahead of Williams in people’s posts.

Williams is younger, sighed longer, plays more minutes and more positions, has more NRL experience, and has consistently been picked ahead of Hunt by 3 different coaches.

Not to mention he was one of our best and most consistent players last year.

There are circumstances I'd take Hunt over Williams

As a starter to partner anyone except BHU I'd be comfortable starting Hunt over Williams
Or as the last forward to make the side in a four forward bench 8 BHU 10 Rudolf 13 Finucane 14 McInnes 15 Wilton 16 Tolman 17 Hunt or Williams
Now Williams should probably be in that side (over Tolman) but if you were only asking about the 17 I'd probably say Hunt on 2022 form, not that Williams has had much of an opportunity to get going

Not to mention he was one of our best and most consistent players last year.
Forgotten the moment he dropped a ball this season

Dolphins want Lachie MIller
Wonder what their transfer fee budget is. Not super interested in releasing our second choice fullback for nothing.

That's a real annoying one as you can't get anything much in return. Personally if he's going to get a starting spot there and isn't in our 17 next year i'd let him go. He's at that point of his career that he can't really afford to wait out an opportunity. Could possibly look for a swap with a young project fullback/half they might have in their system.
