Sounds like something Bennett would try.

But the 10 is at the discretion of the officials. And it should be, you can't expect them to land exactly 10 back from the play the ball every tackle.
I don't think you get pinged too much if you're not percieved to be rushing up early. Or Andrew Fifita.
It’s not really about getting penalised it’s more to do with if your averaging a decent amount more or less than the opponent over a whole game gives a massive advantage/disadvantage. If the opposition isn’t as far back as they should makes making meters a lot harder and really affects the outcome more than an odd penalty

I get you. But you're only going to stay back and be disadvantaged if you're getting penalised.
The officials set the tone for teams. Like how they have different rules for SOO over regular season games. You play to the rules as they're officiated, not by the way they are written. Some teams are just better at doing that that others.

Finucane looks like he's got through the Captains run ok. He will play if he's ready.

You’d think if he got through captains run he plays.
No point having him in the 19 if you won’t pick him even if he clears that

I just want to remind everyone that the team who was running 16th last week beat a top four/eight team easily so I’m in no way underestimating our opponents tomorrow.

Hunts been solid as a starter, better than I thought he would be. He makes more than 1 good run, to say otherwise is a bit unfair.

Seems he can't win cause some fans on here think he is full of mistakes so he keeps it simple and avoids the errors and penalties but then he is accused of not bringing impact. He is a starting prop atm ffs, he is doing a decent job of it. He should be in our 17, he is a first grader with upside. He aint easy to tackle or dominate.

As for Tolman I reckon Fitz would preference him over Fifs, I could say that;s casue Fitz is apparently a defensive oriented coach but i reckkon most coaches would pick Tolman over Fifs as it stands right now.

Coaches tend to be conservative and while Fifs is going pretty well but he isn't bring massive amounts more in attack over Tolman. More yes cause he as an offload and a step but I don't think it's enough to offset the potential minutes Tolman can stay out for.

Both have been good defensively but I would back Tolman with confidence to maintain his tackle efficiency over longer minutes compared to Fifs

As for the Titans honestly ****ing whatever, I'm over the Hannay vibes I get from this team currently and the Titans arn't the opposition to put me at ease or relieve that feeling if we are to beat them. If we keep them to zero and put on 30 then yes I will take alot from that and consider it progress

But the typical Morris/Hannay type scoreline is something like we win 32-22. I just haven't been seeing much of the 'Fitz' influence lately. Not since that ****ing Manly game

Keeping teams to zero seemed to be our goal which excited me a lot. However, since that Manly game we seemed to let go of that goal.

I agree with you that we have not been seeing Fitzy’s influence for the last couple of months.
