I watch the replay as I was out at a work function and couldn’t watch the game live. Boy, I wish I had just gone to bed and not witnessed that debacle. We were so poor tonight in so many areas.

I’m not sure if it’s us believing our own press or just thinking we’ve got the game won, but we looked so tired and so out of it so quickly, we were a shadow of the team that played that first half against Manly. I’m not sure how Fitz fixes this, we desperately need Dale back in the team and Nicho needs to take a good hard look at himself and really be self critical in how he played tonight‘s game.

The Broncos are no world beaters, I still think they will struggle to make the eight but they out enthused us tonight and obviously wanted it more.

So we move on and hope that we can get Dale back for the next game and hope that Fitz works their butts off during the week and gets them ready for the game against the Warriors.

whole team looked like it had Covid

how the **** were they that flat and exhausted ? barely even celebrated when we got a try. we didnt have a short turn around this week either.

Did their flight go around the world before landing in Brissy or something? Bizarre . I'm not saying the players didn't care or make effort but they hardly looked that keen or enthused to be out there either.

Spose we couldn't keep riding high forever but that was our most disappointing game of the season. Hope we didn't put too much energy into those opening rounds but these are fit pro athletes with wads of support staff. Better to fade a bit now then later in year close to finals though.

Hopefully we have stacks of energy and motivation back by then.

Brissy's defense did a good job on us and we could have reacted and executed better but we just couldn't find any rhythm with the ball or get going. Gameplan perhaps a bit lacking too. Some poor tackles and reads in defense led to trys against us

Some players still gave it 100% and did their best to keep us in the game and turn the tide but overall a lackluster team performance and too many handling errors and mistakes. I had a bad feeling as they left the change rooms and ran out, just looked so rigid and unenergetic. Gotta pump yourself up running out onto Suncorp against the home team

You know what’s funny ? We kind of look like the roosters.. don’t think we have the cattle of players to be playing that way week in week out. Catch a roosters game, they look tired as

Fitz and Robinson both seem like pretty intense coaches too though Fitz maybe a bit more laid back away from game day

Were they flogged at training? It was the opposite to what we saw from the boys in the first 7 rounds

I think defensively we look extremely poor lately. Since that try late in the tigers game we have just been so poor in Defence. If you let a team like the broncos make 7 or 8 line breaks against you, then you have some serious systemic issues.

How does Reynolds not get ruled out by independent when blow to head so bad he can’t get to his feet for 4 mins leaving teammates to defend line
not being able to stand feels like it should be cat 1

Dale would have been better off collapsing to ground and staying there than running straight back into d line
And staggered up the tunnel with 2 trainers holding him up ..

As dissapointing as the loss was we only lost by 9 n only let in 16pts at a ground we never play well at against a team that we hav struggled against in the past. Nxt wks response is key n with Dale back there will n should b no excuses...

I would have thought the response last night was important after last week's second half.

A loss is fine, the way we played last night is not.

I certainly didn't expect him back, would like to hear an explanation about that one.

Nothing worse than a Thursday night loss, ruins the weekend
