Yeah I think calling them is the easiest way if any issues.

I had a number of issues and requests, but they sorted it out quickly over the phone. They will transfer discounts to other packages etc.

Hopefully this is the last time we have to switch home grounds and have a season terminated by Covid.

Sounded like WE were returning to Shark Park but Chad was not :D

As for Kogarah , far out we played some atrocious games there, looking forward to being done with it for good but there are most stadium/club upgrades still in the pipeline for future are their not?

Hopefully they don't involve another relocation of home games and can make do with what we have already done

Hopefully it's not.

If they get the money they need to build the COE and upgrade the ET stand then we'll likely need to move again. Maybe only for one season though.

They've probably learnt their lesson about moving all games to Kogarah. They should aim to play more regional games and the big ones at the new SFS perhaps. Only a handful of games at Kogarah since people clearly don't travel there.

the membership portal is horrendous, i also got no discount this year for upgrading my membership

they told me for me to receive my discount, i needed the same membership, not an upgrade
**** that is poor form. Ridiculous that they didn't give you a discount.

Have any other interstate members contracted them about a discount? I know it’s nowhere near the same as what the ticketed members paid, but last year I got bugger all value. It wasn’t possible to go to any of the games that we would have gotten a ticket for.

Just a reminder for those wanting to retain their previous seats at Pointsbet in case your membership renewal is still on the To Do list as 15th Nov has just about arrived . Below copied from one of the reminders I received from the membership team .

Here are some important dates for your 2022 Membership:

  • Monday, 1 November 2021 - 2022 Membership Renewals open!
  • Monday, 15 November 2021 - Want to keep your seat? Your Membership seat hold will be released and will be made available to the public if not purchased by today.
  • Friday, 19 November 2021 - The Pre-Xmas deadline for your membership Packs. Australia Post delivery restrictions and operating constraints are causing delays.

Nah. Both games I was tee’d up to attend ending up getting canned within a week/few weeks of kick off as well.

But for like $120(?), I got a membership pack and a $60 merch voucher. Can’t be bothered clammering an email together for a $20 credit..

Or maybe that $60 merch voucher was credit for not being able to attend previous years…

Nevertheless, can’t be bothered, but feel free to put in the good fight for the rest of us.

Reminder that Sharks Member's Christmas Party is nearly here , Saturday 12pm at Pointsbet , but need to be a fully vaxed 2022 member to attend.

Good opportunity to meet the new signings but need to sign-up for a 2022 membership if not already done.

ET Upper and Lower all sold out - prob not a surprise but still good news.
I hear not much left in Peter Burns either , some in Monty Porter but not a lot , so those planning to get a reserved seat will be looking at concourse unless they get in soon . Reflects the general expectation of Sharks fans for a good year on-field .

Essentially Peter Burns actual stand is sold out with only the concourse seats directly in front of it still available for that category of seat.

Did anyone else get the membership email and the barcode doesn’t work?

I found I couldn't get the barcode to print until I improved the print quality settings on my my printer to 600dpi & black ink only rather than draft quality in grayscale that I normally use .

Getting mine after January but still not sure which package is best. Should be able to make 2 home games next year plus the games in Melbourne, Gold Coast and Coffs. Any suggestions? Thanks guys

The club did a great job with the Christmas Party today.

Biggest turnout I've seen at any event like this, and all very professional with the sponsor activations, plus the players all great with their time.

Definitely seems like a buzz around the Shire for 2022.
