The problem is he is a left winger who carries the ball in his right arm, which exposes the ball to the defence coming across. Like the Ilias knock out.
I think we were the better team and they should have been good enough to close out the game but I do think the officiating had more of an effect on the result than people think.
Penalty count 5-2 Cowboys
Six again 4-2 Cowboys
Only 1 offside penalty given. To the Cowboys in the 71st minute...
We’ve got that 1 player on the bench in McInnes and there are others in the starting pack who could play more.
We need impact off the bench and Tolman offers none.
Tolman over Hunt - ludicrous!
One offers the speed of an ocean liner and the turning circle of a jumbo jet. The other offers youth, pace, aggression and an offload.
The poor kid has to take the first contact and tackling of some useless defensive people around him.
He is going enjoy next year with some good defensive middles. This will improve his attack.
With Price back next year I hope our middle defence will be a lot better.
The only reason he hasn’t played more is because he’s behind the number one 5/8 in the world and Papanhauzen. Otherwise he would have played a lot more.
All I’m saying is that he’s the best halves option available. He’s young, from a good system and if we don’t have a go for him we will regret it.
I’m not saying anyone said he was no good. People are questioning how he would go outside the Storm system.
I believe he will be good no matter where he goes. Bellamy obviously does too because he doesn’t want him to leave.
I don’t get it. Some people people were happy to pay Reynolds $800,00 + to get him. 31 years old and you’ll get 1 maybe 2 good years out him but baulk at paying $600-700 for a 24 year old heading to his prime. Who offers better value?
If he was no good, why is Bellamy trying so hard to keep him?
