Official 2024 Sharks NRL General Discussion

That's where we are at on the social political spectrum You can DUI, beat up a chic, rort a charity ect. and you will still get granted your redemption arc But if you said Men can't have babies you will be facing a life ban and 5 years of intensive re-education camps Offending delusional...

    Game on NOW Thread

Dragons are a strange side at the moment, early days with a new coach and still working out what they are although i'm sure coach Flanno knows what he wants them to be gunna take time and maybe some roster / squad amendments & additions. Hunt is a good player but if he doesn't want to be there...

Warriors in all sorts, all over the place, I would say I don't feel as good as beating them in Rnd 1 Away but Wahs were solid that game and we came back well so will still take it but kinda takes the shine off a bit

How it should be. 1 bloke in charge on the field that the buck stops with. Give him a deputy (Vice Captain) for support and when he's off the field. Hynes perhaps

2024 NRL Round 8 - Canberra Raiders vs Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, 4.05pm Sunday 28 April @ GIO Stadium Canberra

I'm glad Fitz has kept his marbles and been sensible picking the best line up from our available players and not moving things around Some very handy players on the reserves list too btw - basically all current or future first graders It's a shame about Tricky but at least we found out early...

Didn't Talakai do this 18 months or so ago and he wasn't under the influence? Maybe a team mate that was more plastered thought Tricky could drive him home?

They are paid well for a good job, role models in community ect so I don't disagree and if they can't meet the standards argument could be made maybe they shouldn't be in this position and just go do a regular 9-5 or haul bricks for a living. But with some of my posts I'm just trying to be real...

I agree that doing an illicit drug (alleged) at or around a work function (post game drinks) isn't the most professional thing or good look for the club but no one even knows about it if he gets a lift home. If we are worried about it not being professional then we should hold to account all...

Disappointing sure but need to be realistic, especially with young blokes & footy players - doesn't mean our club is in crisis or has fundamental flaws or Tricky should be banished. There are genuine dirt bags in the game that have come back from worse incidents. Tricky seems a good guy who made...

I think most NRL clubs would take a 24-36 month period of no off field dramas or scandals - we have done quite well really keeping it together this long

Yea acting like coke makes you a better strong player or something... having a bit of coke (alleged) was the least potentially harmful thing he did that night really and the quality of stuff that comes into Aus is so bad it was probably mostly chalk and baking powder anyway. FMD we don't really...

Fella, just get a lift home with the coach or call an uber - guess he didn't know he was in for a big night and once it kicked off.... but shouldn't have had a car there with suspended license. He's an adult and all but shame no one was kinda looking out for each other with this stuff as club...

    Official Kayal Iro

It terms of simple workrate and output that is classic Talakai type numbers but now Iro is also starting to looking more dangerous with the ball. His defense ain't bad either, arguably better than Sifa on an edge D wise.

    Official Toby Rudolf

Rudolf was fantastic in defense not just in terms of working his ass off (which he did). 27 tackles for 0 missed but the quality, some of those tackles were really good and he had to move quick laterally and get down low to make some important ones. Still has good leg drive in his carries even...
