All these jokes would normally make me laugh, till the turds made us play dragon-ball and did a number on us the other week.

Don't worry about it mate, it's only one game. We're in the finals until at least week 2, they'll be in Bali.

Yeah I agree with Caps. He's going to struggle to defend on an edge unless he sheds some weight.

Lose Taga and Heighno.

Bring in Sims, Fensom and a young big boy.

Korbin Sims is still under contract.

I'm a big Shuan Fensom fan. I'd take him as an upgrade over Paulo, but another big body in the middle is the priority.

Not including a hooker we need 9 forwards on game day. Currently for 2017 we have these guys. I'd be looking at upgrading the bold ones. If we sign Farah it changes the dynamic, because we don't need carry a hooker on the bench (we probably would if we are starting with some combination of Brown, Cherrington, or Brailey).

Fifita / Prior / Gallen / Lewis / Graham / Bukuya / JSL / Capewell / Paulo

I heard Korbin was looking to get out and move closer to his bro at the dragons. Made me wonder if Heino heading to Newcastle was related to Korbin leaving. Just speculating.

You could be right. He's on big money there apparently, so I guess if they are committing to a few rebuilding years they may as well shed some of the bigger contracts. There was some speculation that us and the Dragons were interested in taking him off their hands. I'd take him for sure. We missed out on N.A.S. and if we let both Heighno and Taga walk, you gotta think there's some cash in the kitty. If we sign Farah I'd go after Fensom and Sims for sure. If we need to carry a bench hooker I'd go after Sims and Kostjasyn

Sims + Kostjasyn > Paulo + JSL

Not fussed on Farah either way, but if we are running with Brown or Cherrington as our #9 we will need a back row/hooker utility on the bench. I haven't been impressed with Paulo or JSL this season. JSL might become a good player, but he's not there yet - Paulo is a borderline first grader.

I think paulo gets a bad rap, I like his game comes on does his job trots off sings the song with real gusto.... After watching NRL 360 and the Farah discussion with ennis and benji I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up with us.

He's been pretty poor in defense lately - but so has the whole team. When the rest of the team is on he's good (e.g. the Panthers game), and he's not a terrible rotation option, but I'd rather he was our 18th player than our 17th.

I'd like us to go for Vaughn. Seems like a Shark type forward - whatever that means. He's got a fumble in him, usually after a try or something good funnily enough. Thats a Raiders thing though and we'd get that crap outta him IMO.

Would also take Korbin Sims.

We need props. No question about it. Its my biggest concer for our tilt this year, and we're so lucky to have a #9 like Ennis to make the most of our relatively small pack. We won't have his genius next year - it is no coincidence that the top 3 sides in this year's comp have the top 3 hookers in the comp. Also no coincidence that Nth. QLD's slump lined up with Granville being out.

I hate to say it but I want ... I want .. *spew* .. I want Rrr-Rrr- IwantRobbieFarrahnextyear .. *spew*

Straight up our window shuts when Mick leaves. Cherrington ain't gonna do it. Nu aint gonna do it. We need the next best available, cunning, wise #9 and that is Robbie.

Of course we could just win it this year and I won't give a flying **** about 2017. My much preferred option.

Also - and I think snowy mentioned it a while back - Elijia Taylor still unsigned for next year. Has Heigno replacement/upgrade written all over it. Also ticks a box in being an ex-Tiger.

I read somewhere, and this is to be taken with a grain of salt, that he was going to be playing Union next year. Bit of a shame, considering I feel he has a lot to offer the NRL. Wasting his potential over there at the Tigers

He's not a fat slob to put in a scrum.

He's not a skilled outside back.

He can tackle.

He doesn't kick penalty goals.

What possible use would Union have for him?

I dunno, but now someone else wants him I suddenly am interested - isn't that usually why players and managers play the union card.

Would love him at the Sharks.
i'd love anyone at the Sharks. At least 1 first grade forward so we don't have to have walkers for Gal, Lewis & Heigno after every game. I'm pretty confident we will land BJ's brother but he won't be taking any of those 3's position in a hurry. Starting to worry slightly about next year. Like Cap said on the last page, we are already behind the 8 ball without Ennis. Without his go-forward our forwards will look very average very fast!

Yeah its usually the case. Not sure he's got the profile for that to work too well for him but. He seems like a good honest footballer with no known off-field problems .. Surely an NRL club needs that. He'd be great for someone like the Knights.

Also don't end a question with a fullstop, ****wit.

There has been talk that he wants a deal with one of the Kiwi Super rugby sides. Could easily play inside centre or perhaps backrow if he had a background there as a junior.
