Well ignore me then i don't even understand all the carry over **** seems like a dumb system to me.

I think we was right fighting it and should of got off, we cant use past precedent of people getting off but then can go oh you had a similar accidental high shot or whatever so lets add more points on, retarded.

Carry over points.

Last year had a similar charge, early plea escapes ban but points r left behind which basically make the second offence ban worthy unless u can fight your way out of the charge.

Wades tackle was a grade 1 careless, badically the lowest charge. Which means he got him high, totally accidental but still dangerous. To get out of that charge he would need prove he didnt get him high (impossible) or make some other case.

The match review nor judiciary got it wrong, but yeah maybe the system is flawed.

But answer this, if it was a club game he was due to miss he would probably take the suspension or if he fought it and lost noone would talk about it

He'd be spewing big time.
Gets picked for SOO. Cops a week for a high tackle.
Nek minit. All his mates are playing for the blues.

Old team mate Frizzel gets a shot and his mate Jack Bird who's played like 3 first grade games gets a shot before him.

It's easy for me to say, but he should take some comfort in knowing he got picked, he was and is good enough for rep football. He finally got the jersey we have had pinned on him since 2011.

That being said, for selfish reasons, I'm glad he's sitting out .

Time, patience, working hard these are not automatic qualifiers for SOO selection although often required attributes they shouldn't necessarily trump pure ability and form.
Some are acting like Wade has been denied some prophesied born to right to pull on that NSW jersey. He will have his chance in game 3 or in future years I have little doubt.

Justin Hodges missed his swansong grand final from an on field indiscretion, I'm glad the NRL stuck to it's guns and didn't cave to external pressures to give Wade any special treatment on the account of a rep game.
Was it a bit soft? Yes. Is the system perfect? Ofcourse not but the least they can do is try to maintain some form of credibility and consistency (still long way to go there...) when handing down suspensions.

Wade has had about 3 good games this year - Frizzel & Bird have been carving up for 2 seasons now.
All 3 were selected on the account of injuries/suspensions but I feel Wade more so on reputation and being 'built for Origin' than the other 2 who are just outright talented

For the record I do want Wade in the Blues team, I think that regardless of form his aggression, passion and confidence could be really suited to the Origin Arena and I do look forward to that day I get to see him run out for NSW. Doesn't mean I get butt hurt and scream 'unfair' though when he has missed out through selection or suspension.

What's everyones thoughts on Wade being selected for Game III?

I'd love nothing more for him to finally run out with the Blues, but, it's a bit **** to debut in a series already lost.

If he's happy to wait, I hope he runs out Game I next year.

He shouldn't be in above Frizz, and Bryce Cartwright should definitely be in there, soz Wade.
