He was not tackled mate, what were you watching. A missed tackle is not "being tackled".

I'll watch the replay again tomorrow, but my instant reaction was double movement. Great win from a turtle like start, the never die attitude at the club not just this year but the past few is something to behold, really enjoying the Sharks footy atm.

I've never had this feeling about a team before. For the first time I actually believe we can go all the way.

We finally just have that talent across the park.

Our outside backs (All six of them haha) have gone up at notch this year and whenever any of them get the ball inside the 10 with a bit of momentum, I think they can make it. Our props are playing great footy this year (how about Prior!) and we have a decent set of halfs.

If we can get past Penrith with our origin stars out, I find it hard to see where a loss will come bar Melbourne.

Nooicee... After the slow starts of late, whilst highly disturbing as a fan I still have a inner calm that we are well capable of still winning. Is Ricky's ankle bad like last game one mistake early then was fantastic after that, his kicking game the short side was porno tonight.

Only just managed to watch the game. Great win, great effort from the boys, but gee that ended up being a lot closer than it should have been. Heart attack stuff at times.
We need to address the issue of our slow starts. It's gonna bite us in the arse sooner or later especially against clinical sides like Melbourne (well, that's about it re: clinical sides ;)).

But, gee the quality of the officiating... Appalling. So many bad calls for either side.

Edit: How poor was Jennings tonight? Great defence from Bird.

I drove from Brisbane to watch tonight's game and was in the Monty Porter stand directly in front of that dumb goose giving away a double movement penalty on the second tackle at a very tight time. I don't care what anyone else thinks they saw. He is a liability. His go forward is non existent. His defence is flaky and his decision making is poor as shown again by that brain freeze. Just go.
