Hypothetical - Merge Or Re-Locate?

I've been a Cronulla supporter for 35 years and if they folded or merged I reckon I would not have the heart to follow another team.
I played Union so I probably would move all my support to the Waratahs.

id support..replays of sharks games

couldnt do it..id watch the team where the players went..not support it..couldnt support another team like i do to the sharks..

i couldnt give up league..i love it to much..

Thanks for your comments boys and girls - yes I'd find it hard to follow league if the Sharks were booted out, I really couldn't support any other team.

I agree with Shire boy that if we merged and retained the Sharks and the colours then I would support them. But it'd feel so different.

as long as we kept the jersey, id cope. i cant imagine being like a western suburbs magpies supporter following the tigers.
i couldnt handle being swallowed up by another team.

if the sharks had to merg witch club would they merg with and why ?

im not to sure myself but the way the money situation is you never know what would happen in 20 years time mabye the manly sharks or the cronulla sea eagles but i sure hope not after wa them basterds do my belovid bears

Sharks merge, No thanks! Arent we the only club that actually owns our home ground,And a lot of the area around it?? We wont be merging, we just need to make some smart business decisions with our assets to set us up for the future!!

If it was to ever happen and it surely won't it would not be Manly. Geographically it would make no sense at all. Besides there is no way fans on either side would support these arch enemies merging. Nearly having convulsions just thinking about it..Please delete thread!

ive been toying with the idea of inter-code merging.
merge (for example) with the sydney swans, yet play under the name of cronulla sharks still. keep everything the same except the corporate partnership.

merge with Southern districts.and Sutherland sharks sell their grounds and turn Toyota stadium into Southern Sharks football academy a lot of people with wads of cash follow union, put a marina off the car park and turn the club into a casino with a gentleman's club and high rollers up stairs
