Strong looking squad, but yeah Lewis is the worry. So no Brailey/F. Brown/Bukuya/Ennis/A. Fifita/Gagan/Gallen/Graham/Maloney/Moraitis/Roqica/Sene-Lefao/Taueli

I would have sent Bukuya or Wade before Lewis. Disappointed Nu isn't going that's crazy IMO. If Gagan is healthy I'd have taken him instead of Mitch Brown.

Sucks we won't have Ayshford

Still a strong squad with those dudes missing.

Wouldn't have sent Lewy, given his history with injuries and the way he slowed down at the end of last year. Graham would have been great.

Strong squad, thought there would be some more unknowns/rookies in the squad. Glad Ennis, Gallen and Maloney aren't going over.

Completely agree. There is little to be gained from sending seasoned stars to the nines unless we are going all out to win it. Whilst the nines really served its purpose last year in throwing up Bird, this isn't the year to mess around at the nines. I rarely advocate for protecting stars (as they can get injured in training as easily as a trial) but this is potentially the best season in a long time.

Happy to see the nines come and go this year without injury, there are bigger fish to be fried.

I would of put Wade in over Lewis.

Is Andrew Fifita injured? I would of had him in there over Heino. I really don't think we need to send Lewy or Heino over. No Nu Brown surprised me too.

Sharks website said he spent last training session on the sideline with a slight calf strain

Graham & Fifita are playing in the Indigenous all stars team, maybe that has something to do with it. Barba gets a run though, hopefully to find some form.
M Brown is a weird choice, his selection will send shivers down the spine of opposition teams.
And only 1 hooker?

Nu Brown in Mitch Brown out , then the problem is solved .
Having said that , Mitch Brown is fairly quick and sizable will probably perform Ayshford's role last year .

I disagree. Ayshford was so successful last year because he would get between defenders and hold the ball in one hand looking for offloads every time or break the tackle. M Brown is more of a hold it with 2 hands and run or tuck it under his arm and get dominated. He'll probably just stay out wide and benefit from the work others do inside him. I can't see him making an impact like Aysh did.

We should make the finals looking at those other squads. From there it's anyone's game. Just hope no injuries.
