very interesting case.
The RLPA determined the sharks wrongfully dismissed Todd, in terms of not affording him to chance to front the board. Which by his contract he must do. However Todd also breached his contract.
This isnt the NRL now, this is court. To get his full contract pay out he would need to prove that he didnt do anything wrong, and that he didnt deserve to be sacked.
He wont get 3 million no way. He wont even get 1

Yep the thing is now the court will decide whether he deserved the sacking. Which i guess yes he did.
It will be settled out of court for a much smaller sum. Like when Wacko Jacko touched kids
If we had any balls we should counter with damages for the damage he did to our brand etc. I understand that ASADA was still around but he surely added to our woes as a contracted player bringing the club into a negative spotlight

It is hard to see Todd not getting some money here. His privacy was violated in the grossest of manners and we used that to sack him.
Surely he wouldn't get anywhere 3 million though. His loss of earnings wouldn't be three million as he has been playing a year after the incident. Part of the three million might be for personal humiliation, but the club didn't humiliate him, it was the bloke that posted the pics.
