Yep. I don't understand how the linesman didn't call it, or the pocket ref didn't call it, but 9 times out of 10 when a field-length intercept or break like that happens they want to check the start to make sure. Hell they knew to check Holmes when we had ours. **** Ben Cummins, he's earned the level of hatred I had for Stayne Hayne

I have no idea what these pricks actually do tbh. The amount of blatant forward passes that are missed every single game is unbelievable.

Flash should have nailed a simple conversion, Gallen should have ****ed off and died after 60 minutes, etc. Pointless, they had an opportunity, they wasted it, and with it went any realistic chance of making the GF. Bundled out week one or two is the most likely forecast.

the only kick he missed was beales on the touchline, that aint simple

I'm more annoyed at the Horo intercept not being referred to video ref. That was absolutely ****ing blatantly in need of a review. It would have been called back and we'd have a penalty pretty much right in front.
Which is why everything should go upstairs straight away, and be reviewed back to the last play the ball. The problem with the video ref they have limits. Basically all points scored should be reviewed, and they can start doing that the moment the ball is put down. Take the refs out if it all together.

Fair enough CHOGM but how do you explain the previous three weeks to yesterday? All average performances as well imo.
Melbourne are a bogey team, and the eels and tigers games we were always going to win. Even when they put up a fight, we were calm and just fought back pretty clinically I thought. We did what we had to in those games and no more.

Were you really thinking that at the time against Parra when we were behind? I wasn't.

The Sharks? All I can say is they were "Dumb and Dumber". *They blew this one. Take nothing away from the spirit of the Manly side; but the Sharks had enough good ball to win 10 games of football.*

Their offence bogged down way in the middle of the field with their forwards dominating far too much of the attacking action.*

Even in the last 10 minutes of play when the Sharks needed a try to win, their exciting young back-line players out wide were starved of opportunities to shine.

Don't get me wrong. We can admire the effort level of their experienced forwards in wanting to compete the way they did. However, it was a mind-numbing performance. The creativity of the team took a back seat to players selfishly*looking to advance their own personal run count. It was so frustrating to watch. The Sharks bumbled their way to what has now become a very expensive loss. Instead of finishing in the top four for the semi-finals, this loss drops them back into immediate sudden-death pressure with every game they now play.*

rom the smh. I think he is talking about gallen.

Yep. Ev and I thought we were a moral to take the 2 points. Couldn't believe it when we didn't.

It was strange. I was happy with the first shot in the first half. We received a penalty prior to that and took the tap, had a few sets attacking and came up empty handed. So taking the 2 next time was fine by me. Not taking it at 8-10 though seemed very odd. It just tells me Gal really has no feel for the game.

Well, we will never know what would or wouldn't have happen if we did or didn't take the two.

The first time we didn't take it we ****ed up straight away.

Horro probably wasn't the only player offside but would need to see some other angles to determine if Horro got back on his line to begin with. He seems to jump the gun just before Ennis picks it up.
But whatever, it shouldn't have got to that point of coming down to one major **** up. Our flat attack lost us that game, not our defense

Actually I was. We scored pretty quickly once we got behind from memory. There was never any panic, unlike the Manly game that was all adrift.
