Brent Read was the original source to this rumour as he brought it up during the time he was stood down before his penalty had been decided. Sportal / Roar have probably just regurgitated it. I hope there is no truth to it the same way you do, but i'm open minded on Fifita enough to think that it's a possibility.

I for one certainly don't buy that it's a conspiracy story designed to derail our momentum. What a laugh.

Either way, if i was to go back through the forums this year. There's no way any of you ****s suggest we make the top 4 at the half way point. Their form has exploded and the plaudits they are getting are rightfully deserved.

Most people here that are running with the 'can we win it this year' mentality are the same people that wanted Flanno sacked after 4 weeks. Half of you wanted Gallen not to resign for another year.

Being a sharks fan HAS to include a fair amount of pessimism that has been ingrained through years of disappointment. It's the reason half you ****s use the word cronullafied.

The way we are playing at the moment I'm not sure we even need him. He could actually derail the side in the finals if he brings his ill discipline with him. We did a wonderful job of keeping Thurston away from a close attacking position in the first half last week. That was great play and great discipline across the board.

If we win the next four on the trot it should be tough to drop someone for him.
