thanks, sounds fair enough. Would be appropriate for any other club, but of course we are held to a higher level.

Yeah he was basically saying that we have to follow due process.

Also said that it goes against everything that the club has been working to achieve over the last 9 months in regard to the image and integrity of our brand.

Kent going on about what if Fifita scores the winning try today, what sort of message does that send.

On the other hand we stand him down, loose the game and after Fifitas are found innocent.

its sends a message of justice since he was robbed of the honour last week by, what do you know, a ref with no idea

watching the presser, Buzz is the one pushing for them to be stood down for the season

Buzz is not a genuine Sharks fan - he chose them as his team years ago because he knew he would generate controversy from readers of the Telecrap - especially when he showed clear bias towards the Sharks.

You can tell he is a hypocrite from his stance over the years - all he wants is a reaction from NRL fans on twitter and in the editorial feedback to justify his journalism skills - which are quite poor by the way.

Actually Buzz has done a lot more damage than assistance to the Sharks from his input over the last few years.

He reminds me of the so called 'friend' and eventual assassin of Julius Caesar - Brutus, who stabbed him in the back.

My god... In private tomorrow I rekon lyal will go ballistic at the pair of them..

good. These things need to be dealt with in house. Id get Lyall, an NRL rep and the ref in question as well as presidents of the competing teams in the game yesty to a meeting. Put it all out on the table.

No excusing their actions at all. But if its true a player was being taken off while they resumed play, the ref has stuffed up his part too, and IMO David as a trainer had a right to say something.

My question to you all is, does this ref pull his phone out if it was you or i, or just the fact it was an NRL player?

fine, counselling, apology. Signed memorabilia. done.

Its a big issue, but its not something that should be dealt with by an NRL suspension IMO

But notice how it takes away from a good story that these NRL players still get out and either help, or watch these lower level games still.

Andrews the one who will be in the most ****, cos he should never have gone on the field.

I had a hint that something was going on when I was at a punk gig in Melbourne yesterday.

A couple of AFL refs in uniform came in after their games for a drink and a wind down. One of them was checking some updates on his phone and suddenly stood up, blew his whistle and said "man down ....MAN DOWN!"

and they both ran out the door with furious expressions. Refs stick together across all codes and these guys were definitely not impressed.

I knew our current run was too good to be true.

Here is the beginning of the downfall.
