I think Bird became a little overated after that breakout performance at 6. Definatley a gun but I think Holmes has been more consistantly impressive.

I don't think Birds become over-rated at all. He has had a few moments of WTF are you doing jack, but really what he is doing is something totally new to us. Thats just pushing a kick thats outside the square. With back up players in Holmes we have a bit of unpredictability in our attack. All thats left is to bring it together and create something to really use these guys to their strengths

Resigned with Panthers for 3 more years. Wouldn't work for Gorman anyway, would want it the other way around. Panthers have development on their leagues club site twice the size of ours and I'm sure he will want to bear the fruits of his labour.

Ok i was unaware he'd re-signed there. Why wouldnt he work for someone? As a general manager/footy director you arent top of the pecking order

If he was to come here, he would want total control. I am sure he would see that as his right for his standing in the game. He has a boss at Panthers but he has a great relationship with Warren Wilson.
