How good is that. Still expect us to get no credit from the media and it was just the roosters having an off day..

the rap will all go to Bird and Holmes, I don't mind that too much but everyone put in

They stood out but everyone did their bit. Errors were few. Attack still isnt strong enough. Theoretically we shoulda closed the game out in the first half

Awesome win.

Granted the Sharks can never win comfortably and have to get me biting my nails at the end of every game, but jeeze it's worth it on days like this.

Hopefully with this win we pull a big crowd against Newcastle and get back to back wins on Nine.

We'd started looking so tired when the roosters scored their first try that I thought we'd lose. Bird took the game by the scruff of the neck and just said nup

Great win. We are away. Sweet Bird of youth. Happy after a game for the first time since july. Let's build on that. Solid team effort.

Great game to watch,
We played good basic football.

How good was Bird, Holmes and Gordon.

Exactly right mate: Good, basic football.

Nothing flashy, in fact, we were accused by the commentators of "boring the Roosters to death"

But look at the completion rate: 86%. And the time in possession: 58%. Missed tackles: 25 (and most of those were in the second half.)
If you maintain those type of stats, you're going to win more than you lose.

The other major factor was the kicking game. we utilised a number of kickers, Graham, Robson, Ennis and Bird. This kept the defence from being able to charge the kicker and resulted in our kicking game being much more effective. Graham's long kicking game is much better than Robsons.

Jack Bird was absolutely awesome. Once again, nothing flashy, just backed himself to have a run, great defence and backed up the forwards well.

Great to see the faithful celebrating the win and singing the team song, been too long! Lets hope we can sing it again next week!!

Stoked to get that much needed win.

Ennis was epic, good game from Gal, the youngsters were great, very happy.

Although Gordon went well I just feel that if we're going to bomb and hope to everything we need Gagan back asap.
