While the media are strongly pushing the line that he will be going to the Gold Coast, I'm yet to see them actually provide any solid justification for this. They also don't seem to want to completely rule out the other options, just so a back pedal position is still available.

As it stands I am now pretty sure DCE will be a shark within the week.
With the court case of the titans players going into next year there is no certainty on who he would be playing with or how much cap they will have. Even giving DCE a say in who they sign doesn't help much when you don't know how much cap you can use.
Manly have put their eggs in the Foran basket DCE has two choices - beg manly or take more cash at the Sharks and play with a top 8 side.

with the sharks, he has a young up and coming back line who are in a position to contend for the top 4 and a semi final run.
with the Titans he has a good group of backs but there is no assurance what kind of forward pack he will have, or who he will even be playing with. there is also no chance he gets to play finals footy for 2 years, maybe more.
it isn't about money, don't even think that if he goes to the GC it is about money, because we have offered him a great package, it will be about what project he believes in the most.
