9 have worked that to have a qld team and a nsw/syd team round 1 game 1 for ratings. Qlders probably didnt watch much of the rabbits/cocks game

If we get a home game I hope it's against a out of Sydney team. A team that we normally draw small crowds. Round one is normally a easy game to attract fans to, everyone being pumped for the start of the season so I'd hate to waste our first 1 or 2 home games against teams like the dragons or bulldigs that will attract a big crowd no matter the time of the year

So in the last 10 we have a 5/8 who we already know isn't ready (that's why they got Barba) at a time when the game is likely to be won or lost.

more a getting 3 halves on the field instead of two sort of arrangement. Besides that the extra attack having Barba at the back could only be a good thing. no?
