Hi 1999 ..I Could be wrong but I'd take a punt that you might be 15 ish. Perhaps you've made your point from 15 years perspective .We've listened and you made your rich or poor perspective .BUT also read what others are saying . If you've come from a hellish upbringing . Money fame access to high paid therapists doesn't change the headspace that you might be in prior to seeking help . Do you understand that ? At 15 there is still much more to experience and learn before making such claims .

Andrew Fifita is one of our best players. As Sharks fans we do care about his well being. Not on a selfish level. Just because he has no financial troubles means nothing to me. Is it Andrew selling his story for sympathy or DT selling their scoops? There is no benefit for Andrew to have these articles printed, in fact they are probably more damaging than good.

My point is physcological, we are conditioned into idolising these heros in our society because we need our champions, the fact is we are fans of our club for two reasons, we like the sport, and we need to feel like we are part of something bigger (hence why we refer to "our" clubs actions as "our" or "we" not "them" and "they"), the poorer classes who struggle daily manage to pay hard earned money to buy a Jersey or go to a game need to realise they are paying to watch someone kick a ball. That's it. And they make millions for it.

We cry when they lose and we sing when they win, nothing has changed in a thousand years, nor will it ever. And when our champions fall we are there to help pick up the pieces, when all around us the common people suffer and no one utters a word.

I don't feel sorry for Fifita, at all. I feel sorry for a society that deems it necessary to feel sorry for him.

One thing I can promise you all that is even without your prayers Andrew Fifita will be fine, go donate your time and effort and thoughts to a cause that could really make a difference in someone's life.

You really don't get it do you. Mental health is a real issue and us saying, "hope he get the help he needs" has nothing to do with what he does or how much he earns. I would, and have had the same feeling when I have encount other people in my life that have had to battle this deamon.
