Lewis pretty openly did a Ferguson when he left panthers, he wanted go to a team that was a chance of winning a premiership... Clearly coming here was the wrong choice.

He's not much chance of winning a premiership anywhere if he's not taking the field.

We would be millionaires but I don't see flanno wanting him too, he will be in his ear telling him to play on

Lewis will get picked for 4 nations. Even more so now they will lose gallen and fifita (who was looking likely to be called up). The forwards are dropping.

Tamau, thaiday, parker, cordner, merrin, scott, lewis, gillette, and i wouldnt be surprised if mcqueen doesnt get a call up.

Woulda been nice for lewis to do a full healthy pre season.

Surely they won't pick him. I know he got put in Origin, but he's hardly even played this year.

I can't see them picking Lewis.

Fergo used a clause in his contract about Ricky leaving, and Lewis asked for a release with 2 years remaining on his contract. Lewis is obviously more likeable than Ferguson, but realistically, they were very similar things. He didn't want to be in a rebuilding team phase again, but that's what is ahead of us now.

Back on topic: Yes, Ennis is good. Should be captain, future immortal. Should be halfback. :gal:

Wasn't he more or less pushed out? He had a contract and all, but I don't think Penrith were particularly keen to keep him anyway.

I've come to appreciate the art that is Michael Ennis's grubbyness. He must have a strike rate to rival Bradman too he never seems to not be pissing someone off.

I remember he riled Hindmarsh up to the point I think he got 10 in the bin.

I'd love to know some of the crap he says.

Just had a text from a Bulldogs mate telling me we can keep Lichaa. He wants Ennis to stay.

I told him he was too late!
