A fair amount to pay Hunt would be about 800-850k a year on a 3 year deal. Id be happy to pay him that much IMO. Get rid of some of the dead wood and free up some $$

Add Ennis in on 500k a season and we will be looking pretty rosie.

Roosters know talent and they don't want him and considering they had him earmarked from early on for centre I will trust they know he won't ever hit the highs his talent promised.

Don't forget..... Fergo will be with them next year, that's why they are probably trying to offload him, he wont compete with fergo in the centres.

In that case I would rather go for SKD then Moga.

$500k wouldn't buy his left nut. Would have to be up around $800k, probably more.

Which side does he play on? Cause I'm not down for us spending that much on his off-side nut.

900k on the table and we get both nuts AND the shaft. That's my final offer.

Yeah only buying one nut would cause him to run in circles. Bit like ol' one nut Lance Armstrong. He always took right hand turns with much more confidence than left hand turns because of the weight difference.

Engadine, gods country.
Maybe we can play Merritt on ayshfords side, that way we will have Carney, Ayshford and Merritt all not being able to tackle, may as well roll red carpet on that side if the field so the opposition can stroll in like they own it

we can have the melbourne comedy show every two weeks at shark park and make a fortune, just the comedians will be the sharks right side defense.

They we're probably taking into account t the cost. SKD would be almost double I would have thought.
I wouldn't sign either of them.

A couple of points on the Coaching topic - apologies if this has already been mentioned and discussed.

It is my understanding that the PLAYERS didn't want Kimmorley as interim Coach. If this is true and correct, this is the root of the problem, we have a player run Club.

Whilst Sharp has indicated he does not and did not seek the position of Head Coach, he has been quoted as saying that he is the best man for the job. I respectfully disagree with those who say that because of the money he is paid he shouldn't be assessed so critically. When you are a professional coach, winning is everything in a results driven business. It doesn't matter how much your are earning if you don't get results, you shouldn't stay in a job.

From an on field perspective, I think the late rule changes have had some impact on our style of play and the inability to cope with the quicker play the balls.

My view is we are 2 or 3 games behind where we really should be. We shouldn't have lost to the Titans, St George and possibly Parramatta. The other results I think could have well been considered as losses but not the blowouts particularly Canterbury and Newcastle.

A couple of away wins can get the team back on track - only if they are determined to do so themselves.

Hitler had similar issues which is why his Panzer Tank used to veer off the road and he was eventually given his own driver. According to the book WWII, A True History, when Adolf was walking to the fridge he used to aim about two feet to the right.
