A couple of points on the Coaching topic - apologies if this has already been mentioned and discussed.
It is my understanding that the PLAYERS didn't want Kimmorley as interim Coach. If this is true and correct, this is the root of the problem, we have a player run Club.
Whilst Sharp has indicated he does not and did not seek the position of Head Coach, he has been quoted as saying that he is the best man for the job. I respectfully disagree with those who say that because of the money he is paid he shouldn't be assessed so critically. When you are a professional coach, winning is everything in a results driven business. It doesn't matter how much your are earning if you don't get results, you shouldn't stay in a job.
From an on field perspective, I think the late rule changes have had some impact on our style of play and the inability to cope with the quicker play the balls.
My view is we are 2 or 3 games behind where we really should be. We shouldn't have lost to the Titans, St George and possibly Parramatta. The other results I think could have well been considered as losses but not the blowouts particularly Canterbury and Newcastle.
A couple of away wins can get the team back on track - only if they are determined to do so themselves.
