Well two tries went begging in the first half and we scored three in the second. Tighten up the execution and beat Prince to the ball and that's a five try game. Nothing wrong with that considering their forwards were giving us a good over. We're improving heading towards the finals, not fading out like chumps, I'm cool with it.

J Wright's attempt to recreate his favourite Luke Covell play. Wowzers

The touchie got in his way down the sideline slowing him down a step. Might have made it to the ball otherwise.

just been thru the last few pages, expected more people on here to be giving j wright a few more wraps ... I thought he had a great game, he's not a winger

He was very good, his best game in our colours. Having said that he can have a tendency to be lazy in defense. The second Broncos try, Wright was just back pedaling not looking that interested and then a big gap opened up and he was slow to even try and close it. Same thing happened last week.

Yet we still only managed 19 points against arguably one of the worst teams in the comp. that's enough for me to be pissed at. We should have flogged that mob and we didn't. We will get raped by the roosters.

But if we beat them I will give flanno a wrap. But I refuse to say anything positive about Robson. EVER. Haha

As DeathMoth said our attack was encouraging. It really wasn't just the same old ****. The most enterprising play I have seen from the team this season, even if alot of it was off the back of Carney.
It's like Flanno released the shackles a bit. We used our centres (particularly Wright) alot more than usual to good effect.

Cross field kicks on half way to open wingers, short kick off from the drop out, chip kicks. I don't know what changed this week but our team was different in it's approach. Much more positive.
Alot of it worked quite well which suggests to me that egads they may have even been training for those things! Robbo did his best to undermine the good attacking work of others. Was terrible.

I'm not buying into the whole should have beat the Broncos by a big margin nonsense. We had our 3 best players out, playing in front of a brisbane crowd and frankly the baby broncos defense and intensity deserves alot of praise. I did not expect them to put up that sort of fight and organization.

Average game by us for the most part but we kicked it up around the 65th minute and got the prize. We are still terrible inside the red zone.

Now for all you Peachey knockers let me explain why you are all wrong, especially Jimbob. Firstly, he was asked to play 68 minutes and in a role that is not best suited to his abilities. And what did he do, he ran 18 times for 151 metres which is second only to Gordon. He also made 34 tackles which is one shy of Heighingtons 35 for second highest on our team with only 4 misses. He also offloaded twice and had four tackle busts.

Bare in mind he made a couple of errors and missed a tackle that led to a try but FMD, he was as effective as any of our forwards. Just because he didn't carve up like he is capable of doesn't mean he played bad by any stretch. If Jonathon Wright had of thrown him that ball when he was pouring into a gap I'd suggest he would have taken some stopping.

Carney stepped up when he had to and it's great to see him running the ball. Gordon was outstanding as was Feki. Robson again, WTF. Possibly the worst halfback in the comp. He does **** all but tackle and throw pointless inside balls.

I really did love what carney did and what he is doing, but it is so depressing knowing he has to do everything. Imagine having him on one side if the field and then a halfback who may actually be capable of some offensive plays.

And whenever carney gets tackled on the last tackle its sad knowing robbo has to kick.

Oh and suncorp must be one ****ing intimidating place to play footy. That crowd is loud and proud. The roar they have off when the broncos brought it to 18-19 was unbelievable and really made us **** ourselves

Didn't see the game, what happened to Wade Graham???

Short kick off from Carney - got to the ball just as a defender hit him very hard. Kept running after that but after play the ball went off.
I hope it doesn't stop us doing the short kick off again - was well executed

Robson was so bad last night. So so bad.

I don't think he was bad, just didn't do anything after his knock on.

I was surprised how involved he was getting in the first 30mins in attack, and not just with inside balls. Instead of just shoveling the ball to the next player he was drawing in defenders by running at the line before passing the ball which would give Carney and Gordon room to move. After his knock on he seemed to go into his shell and only work with the forwards and let Carney deal with the backs.

The Stadium was louder with Shark chants all night and the Bronco supporters hated us. That roar and 4 minutes of hell for us is all they had on us, then we gave it to the wankers again!

I agree with all of that Tef, except that I think there was a degree of improvement when inside the Red Zone in attack. We looked like we had more of a clue last night and played with more intent and purpose. We actually went to outside backs at times.

I don't think he was bad, just didn't do anything after his knock on.

That running to the line Robbo does before passing is good for creating space (almost created an overlap last week) but he has been doing that since we signed him so it's nothing new and any decent half back could do the exact same thing.

His inside balls had me screaming at the TV last night! Carney was doing good things spreading it to our backs and Degois making some metres up the middle and then we have Robbo throwing endless amounts of inside balls to a slow forward halting all of the attacking momentum we just had a few seconds ago. I know Flanno wants this inside ball garbage as part of his gameplan but ffs Robbo will it kill you to spread it wide when it's on and play what's in front of you?

He was ****house and our worst player last night. He put in a decent grubber and bomb and other than that pretty useless. Seems to have only 2 decent plays per game in season 2013 and other than that he is MIA. That's not FG

We look like we know what we are doing until we verse a quality side, then we call to pieces.

Scratch that, we fall to pieces anytime we are put under the pump, that last 6 minutes proved that.

We probably should have romped them, but we too were missing origin players. Plus our captain only played 15 odd minutes, and Ryan out.

I'm more than happy with the way we played and won. We looked good in attack in the second half, I would love to see the game again when we have Gal, Lewis and Fifita back, and Gordon at 100%. And we were oustanding in defense until that last 5 minutes.

But but but, he has X Factor and he scores crazy tries in NSW Cup. Plus his name is Peachey.

Easily worth 250k for that alone :drunk:
Amazing. Peachey is twice the player of all these hacks you talk up from reserve grade. But get moroko and gigot into first grade asap...
