just finished watching the game. how the **** we managed to nearly blow a 13 point lead in the space of about 5 mins is beyond me. still, was good to get the win.

lots of positives come from the game. Carney taking on the line is bloody dangerous. Peachey slapped down a peg or two. Bukuya doing some great work. De Gois looking a lot better. It almost hurts me to say this but Stapo is really putting in and he looks fit and fired up. Mills i'm still not really sold on but tonight should've calmed his nerves after the **** storm last week. Gordon was brilliant at the back and was always there chiming in on the back line movements. We've missed him.

Hopefully Graham comes back from injury sooner rather than later. We'll miss him, and don't forget Lewis' arm is only just hanging on too.

They've shown team songs after wins plenty of times before - including for Cronulla - but they don't do it religiously after every match, just every now and then.

Like last week, we won, plenty of interviews on field, then a victory lap, home teams stay out on field after a win longer than when the away team wins. Team songs would be done in sheds at home games well after channel 9 has packed up shop

So we'll continue to let him b a turnstile this year? :ridiculed

As long as he is our smallest bloke he will get targeted. Just like soward, Mortimer, Maloney in origin etc. that's the opposition tactic. But Todd as the last line of defence for 2 tries isn't ideal.

When he made those kicks into the in goals it was like watching the game in slow motion, we have no pace whatsoever in our outside blokes

I've been wondering what Penrith signed Peachey for and I can't find it printed anywhere.

I know you were just using that figure to emphasise your joke, but I highly doubt Penrith offered him more than a modest salary for fringe first-grader standards.

Don't worry his mate L.Lewis will be back next week
Do help him in defence.

Robson is ****. Plain and simple. Anyone who thinks otherwise is clearly watching the wrong sharks team each week.

After sobering up and re thinking the game (or what I can remember)
We were still yet again rubbish. To almost lose to one of the worst teams in the comp with their few superstars out is awful. We got lucky tries yet again and thank god carney stepped up otherwise we would have lost.

But flanno and the media will talk up that we got another win and that we are in the top 8 blah blah. But we still ****ing suck balls in attack so bad and Robson is OMG so ****ing **** it makes me sick to my ****ing stomach OMG! Can this guy get an injury please? For ****s sake.

Here's a guy who didn't get laid last night.

I thought our attack showed signs of a decent improvement. Last tackle options weren't always the best but there were moments of greatness.

The Carney bullet pass (called forward) to Stapo shows that he's playing what's in front of him and he's got the skills to execute the right play. Carney's chip to Wright who toed it twice down the sideline was gold. Another example of blokes playing what's in front of them. Gordon is back and is chiming in on back line movements and immediately looks a whole heap better.

We've looked way worse in the past. Even if some of those plays don't come off they're encouraging. There were a few plays that didn't quite come off last night that could've put is another 12 points up.

Yet we still only managed 19 points against arguably one of the worst teams in the comp. that's enough for me to be pissed at. We should have flogged that mob and we didn't. We will get raped by the roosters.

But if we beat them I will give flanno a wrap. But I refuse to say anything positive about Robson. EVER. Haha

Yeah, don't think it's anywhere near the worst we've played. Although the way we dropped off in those last five minutes was atrocious, and should be a real wake up call to complacency and thinking you have a game wrapped up. Can't have that in finals footy. If that were the Storm or Rabbitohs, we would have been toweled up then.

Broncos might have had plenty of quality players out, but so did we. Gal, Fifita, Lewis, Beau, Wade, Toops. Their forwards came out on a mission to belt us, and they did. Played with a lot of desperation. I bet our initial game plan would have been to play it down Graham's edge all night, but that got cut short. Thought everyone played well with what they could (except Robson).
