I get what you are saying mate, but if you have a game you consider an 'easy win'. Which Im sure the Sharks never did anyway, you wanna run out for confidence. Feki had only played 1 game, put another debutant in and it CAN spell disaster. Feki had a good game, Im sure when his confidence gets up a bit more, Peachey will get a run.

I wanna see Peachey get a run, and for all we know, he could be promised a run, and he knows when he's gunna get it already

i think your right & it will most likely be during origin, with both gallen and lewis not available.
but i think it would have been a good time to give him first game agaisnt the tigers.

Yes but i feel that a game that we needed to dominate in, we needed to play the tried and tested. Not that Boogie is better than Peachey, but we dont know how good peachey would go in first grade yet. That win was pretty much a freebie for us, we couldnt take advantage of the opportunity.
Peach will get his turn, Flanno is well aware of his ability, I guess at this point its finding him a role in the team, not just a position

Ffs we play 1 god damn game in the origin period. He wont get a shot then

Gal or lewis might get a rest the game after origin mate. Might not hurt to rest Gal in that time, rather than play twice in 4 or 5 days

I will add another aspect to this thread. I was pissed that he wasted lewy at centre when he could have easily brought bukuya into the centres. It completely stuffed our go forward in the 1st half.

Guys you bang -on about the Peach . i agree he will get a run during origin and I get the feeling he will play a big roll in the lead up to the finals . His confidence is high in NSW Cup , imagine how good he will get if he performs in well 1st grade . we need to sign him up before someone else does.

I like what peachey is doing in new cup but putting aside his brilliance he is small for a second rower. The blokes he will defend against are massive humans these days, guys like Pritchard, SBW and even GI are going to ask big questions about his defence. He does not go low in defence as a little guy should he goes for the grab tackle and as a result he has a few missed tackles every game.

I don't think he is big enough for the second row, so he either needs to come in as a centre (Daley and fittler style) or he pushes carney to 7 and plays 6. The second wont happen this year so he needs to ask to play at centre so he can push pom out.

I'm just looking forward to see him getting a run, he is smallish for the modern day forward but he wont lack confidence & you cant say that about all debutants, he'll go well imo.

I though the same thing josh!!!! I reckon the first half wasn't so dominate as Lewis went to centre .. In the 2nd half when Ryan was back an Lewis returned to the centre of the field we dominated...

Was a great opp to trial boogs as centre IMO!

Not a terrible decision from the coach considering Lewis has previous experience playing centre and has proven he can adapt to different roles on the field

He did mention that at the press conference about Beau, as it wasnt a full KO or anything and Beau was going to return, he threw Beau back on, to push Lewis back to his normal spot. The problem with injuries I guess is it makes substitutes happen, that you didnt want to make. I think it was handled well. Sure Bakuya could have played in the centres, but he saw what was going wrong and fixed the problem.

Agreed, and for me Boogs is an absolute emergency centre at best. He hasn't got the lateral agility or the ability to read defence out wide.

People saying Peachy isn't big enough for the 2nd row/lock are kidding.

Gal seems to do ok. He was about the same size of Peachy when he made his debut.

The difference now is that Gal is wider than he is tall.

Graham isn't a man mountain either, he goes ok.

Bring in the Peach!

Thats spot on, but it took a few years for Gal to hit his straps too. I did hear 1 ex player (think it was Jason Stevens?) saying Gal used to get the dumbells out on the team bus on the way to and from games. He was dedicated
