The kids arent used to large crowds of 13,000 plus people, so it will be an eye opener and probably freak them out a bit as well. Do they still do a jumping castle on the hill? Not that its important but we try and talk it up to the kids to get em excited

Yeah I'm pretty sure there's a jumping castle up in top of the hill. In the shape of a shark or Somthing like that...

Haha..didn't you know I was from good ole Taree?

The kids might be a bit shy at first but even if you do have to take them up to the fence you won't be in the way.Lots of adults stand up there some of the time. My husband was even dismayed one Sharks v Parra game because the mascot wouldn't shake his hand...haha.He was dressed in all his Parra finery and was pissed....that may have had something to do with it.

hahaha gutted!

Yeah we are really wanting to take the 2 kids down. In November last year when travelling home from Canberra i took them all on a tour of the shire. to all the childhood places we used to go and play, grandparents house, Sharkies and the beaches. Kids were in awe of how big the stadium was, and they get excited as all hell when they see the Sharks logo.

They'll have a great time at the footy. It's such a good atmosphere especially for the local derby. I wouldn't be anywhere else on those days.
Actually my son (and rest of family) is going to this game on his 21st birthday. I almost had the team lined up to sign a key for him but then all this **** hit the fan so I'm not going to bother them by following up on it.

anyone watching st merge v bris? after my raging success last night tipping the dogs 1-12, im tipping bris to get up 13+ on no actually scientific basis, just coz.....

Even with the broncos not playing at home they still get a Friday night game.
