he would be a genuine go to guy, not the other **** we have on the wing

Haha not the medical miracle. fmd he's hopeless.

mills has great finishing, not on graham's level but he puts all our other wingers to shame. too bad he's a human tampon.

If you had to rate our outside backs contracted for next year, putting them in order from best to worst, what would your order be? Forget about position and just choose based on who is the best player overall.

This is the list of contracted players. Don't include players off contract or players you want to come to the club, or are rumoured to come to the club. Assume full fitness.

Nathan Gardner
Stewart Mills
Ben Pomeroy
Matthew Wright
Ricky Leutele
Nathan Stapleton
Michael Gordon
Jonahan Wright

This is my order:

  1. Michael Gordon
  2. Ben Pomeroy
  3. Nathan Gardner
  4. Jonahan Wright
  5. Stewart Mills
  6. Nathan Stapleton
  7. Ricky Leutele
  8. Matthew Wright
The three guys after Mills are all neck and neck though. I just feel Stapleton is a better winger than Right, Leutele probably a better centre (hard to tell with Wright not playing there) and Wright is adequate cover but not a first grader in any position (from what I can tell so far).

Hard to say really. A lot of them are just average or bellow really.

I'd probably put M Wright higher than Stapleton though.

I think our first 5 backs are OK overall. Our depth is a bit questionable and it'd be nice to upgrade one or two of the starters but I can live with them.

  1. Michael Gordon
  2. Ben Pomeroy
  3. Nathan Gardner
  4. Jonahan Wright
  5. Stewart Mills
Obviously arrange them in a way that makes sense.

We really could use mills ATM but h just cannot string games together which is a shame cause he has always had a good ability to finish tries

Surely Gardner is number 2? His x factor only makes him one of our best

What is Lewis' preferred position? Is he now settled as a backrower? I reckon we could really use him as a centre in our team, particularly if Smith stays.

the parking fine doesnt faze me the slightest, its comical, but i feel for the others that copped one, makes for an exxy day if you have a family, and would clearly turn people off going down to the footy just to cop a ticket for parking in a free carpark lol, it still cracks me up, 99bucks for parking the car nose in not rear to curb haha, ****heads....

FMD you guys are a bit harsh on Carney. He was carving them up at times yesterday and would have had us back in the game if not for that horrible forward pass call with ~10 minutes to go.

This game was lost with awful defense. Both Ashley Graham's tries were soft and should never have happened. Ditto for the Taumalolo try and the Segyaro try - and their first try was just ridiculous.

Few bad decisions. one play where he made a break, best was in his outside flying carney didn't even look to his outside best was in 100% no doubt about it. Very very average mistake. Then after that play Gal goes to the outside with 2 metres of room before the sideline, hotdog gets tackled over the sidelong with tackles up our sleeve. Silly stuff

Less said about yesterday the better. We need to man up and go to Canberra with a win at all costs attitude.

If we don't we are in for a long day.

What a fugged bunch of reporters that rag possesses
All week leading up to the game, they had pages on Hindy, Hornby etc who were retiring but not even 1 mention of Besty, even by our so called media fan, Buzz Rothfield
All he could talk about today was the revitalised Dogs and his dinner at the King Wan! Bloody disgraceful
Well done to the Club for giving Besty some deserved recognition, pity the game didnt end the way we all would have liked
