It was part of a perfect opening 10 minutes from the Cowboys who didn't make a mistake in possession and had Cronulla well under control defensively. As the Sharks looked to be gaining some momentum, back-up hooker Nathan Norford again made a big ...

However it was two tries in the five minutes before half time which probably sealed the Sharks fate, with the 22 point deficit proving too much of a mountain to climb for the Cronulla team. They did give themselves a glimmer of hope when they scored, ...

Not really they had enough ball in the opposition half to score more than one try in the first 60 minutes. None of his kicks created anything, straight down the throat of one the back 3 just like he did in first grade. I know he is still young and can improve quickly but he really lacks vision in attack. I wish him all the best and hope he can turn into a solid first grade half

Its sad that he kicks off in his Toyota cup side.. I would love to see him put some bone crunching tackles, right off the bat.

just an off night- shame, that guy alcock really tried his guts out and really took them on, if we had another 5 of him in our pack we would have matched them, then maybe our backs could have done something. Game was there to contest 10 mins before half time, couldve been 18-6 and a chance with that try after haf time.

I've only watched the first half, but I did see a hell of a lot of the games this year and I must say I don't see too many first graders there

Overall compared with the cowboys they didn't look big enough or fast enough, not a good sign for first grade.

Mills, peachy, Frizzel, pickerd & Townsend are probably the only potential first graders.

Townsend just doesnt have spark, yes he's young but I can't see him suddenly developing spark. Peachy has got something, but I'm worried he's too small.

I dont think we should be relying on this team for our future, as good as they've been this year.

It all means we should sign Todd Carney if we are going to make any impact over the next years.

i agree + we should sign Carney for next year and let kids develop without the pressure to succeed we put on them too early in their careers.

Masima and Raru were good in the pack. Masima has really nice technique with his offloads. Raru is a beast- both played SG Ball this year, so they have plenty of time left to develop. Same goes for Lichaa.

I could only watch the first half, but it just wasn't our night. In the end our main weakness was exposed again- lack of power and leg drive in the pack. Good on the Cowboys, they deserved to win.

Yeh, sometimes you just have to admit the other team is/was to good, as an overall team we looked like we werent as physically strong as the cowboys, speaking of them, they have some nice talent coming through.
