The boys played with heart tonight, and pride for the boys, Baz and Cov, was great to watch tonight, and 1 of the only games where my heart wasn't in my throat after we took the lead, we took control of that game tonight, and not once did i doubt we were going to win! Great game tonight boys great effort and heart!

Nice to hear that Gil! :)

Listening to the radio, when Smith scored, even they seemed happy. They probably couldn't believe it either, haha.

No one saw it coming. And he did it with his left foot! Amazing play.

Great Win and Congrats to Baz and Luke on Great Careers will both be missed next year

100% agree with you... Cov is pretty slow, but we will definately miss him next year! Great under the high ball, and can make his way over the line! Great effort tonight, can't be happy enough for the boys tonight!

Great win. On a side note, congrats to both refs for not going to the video ref once, and backing their judgement

Yeah. I agree with that. The game went along smoothly which was great from a fan/spectators point of view.

any bet Greg Bird was after the game "I cant wait to sing Up Up Cronulla then he came to reality and he sat in the unusual position where his head was down and he just realized he lost to the club that made him the spectacular player he is today and every moment he heard Up Up Cronulla echoed through the corridors of the change rooms he thought, "I miss that".

I'm sure he is feeling that he is missing his home.

Or he's looking forward to playing in the semi finals, with a team that has a shot at the premiership...

I'd like to think his heart is still here, though.

167 metres from 15 carries....only bested by gallen (who never gets beaten in metres anyway)

Yeah the bird was real good for them... looked like splitting us open when he got the footy and the defense was on the back foot too. He's such a good 3rd ballplayer and at his best running the blind side against centres. But, let bygones be bygones. He may be back one day, but not for a while.
