Not a lot of bold predictions in there.

IMO Hazelton has done enough to jump Kaufusi, especially on a 4 forward bench. If not Kaufusi then maybe Hunt but I also prefer him especially on a 4 forward bench where him and Tommy can focus on impact with Jack and Cam able to play bigger minutes.

Talakai I think is likely still the starter right now, but Iro has a few months to force Fitz hand.

Uele wont be there until round 2 or 3
Was non weight bearing on his leg for 6 weeks after knee surgery and will only recommence full running towards back end of pre season.
Told me he is aiming for round 2 or 3 return if all goes well

I think he’s got it right apart from no Hazelton for Kaufusi.

I get that Tom is a popular player, and a lot of fans would like to see this, but there is no reason at all to actually think this will happen.

- There are many examples of Oregon being picked ahead of Tom
- There are many examples of Oregon playing more minutes than Tom
- There are many examples of Oregon being the player moved in to a bigger role when required.

... and there are zero examples of the opposite (excluding injury).

This is the exact same conversation we had last year with Jack vs Hunt. Forum wanted Royce, but there was zero precedent for believing that he would ever be picked ahead of Jack. Round 1 came and Fitz picked the guy who he had always preferred.

Do us keyboard coaches think that Tom might be able to be given a bigger role eventually? Sure.
Does anything Fitz has said or done in the past suggest that Tom has played his way ahead of Oregon? Not in the slightest.

... and there we go. The whole "who will miss out in round 1" discussion is irrelevant because they already know they are missing one bloke.

For BHU, a round 2 or 3 return might mean a run with the Jets or a cameo off the bench, so you can't even think of him as a potential starter until round 4 or 5.

Not suggesting for Tom to be given a bigger role or more minutes though.
I get what you’re saying but for bench spot 4 in a 4 forward bench that’s an impact role for me and I prefer Tom for it.

As a replacement for BHU Kaufusi absolutely makes more sense, with either him or Royce starting. Tom stays on the bench in the impact role.

Yep.

Could Tom play more minutes than Kaufusi? No.

Could Kaufusi provide as much impact as Tom? Not imo.

Two very different roles. Tom for me.

You'd start Kaufusi. Like BH says, they're two different players. I think you get more from a fresher Tom than you do Ore.

That’s cute!

But what’s the best one… you and Snowman for Snorkles a good shout…
Burgowman would ban himself from being banned and then just never post again
Too subtle

I'm saying that Kaufusi is in bench spot #3.

Fitz's 4 man bench will have player #2 and #3 on a similar rotation (15 either side of half time).

Healthy bench is Cam, Jack, Oregon + 1

BHU being injured brings Jesse into the conversation.

Not bad money for **** all hours and no responsibilty...
Not sure if it’s be FTE/pro rata to the amount of hours you actually do.
If this is like what the guy I know does I think it’s about 6 hours usually for a game. Setup starts well before kick off to make sure everything is communicating correctly for broadcast.
Not sure how technical/convoluted it was but I know he was a bit anxious going from general NRL stuff to bunker - need to make sure all connected with every camera and mic and ready to switch things around d rapidly as needed for review I guess (or sometimes not that rapidly)
