Brisbane being up there 3 years in a row will require three straight healthy years from Reynolds. My hunch is Panthers this year and then Brisbane mature from it and take 2024 & 2025.

Mam is a really quality player, 21 tries in 37 games is impressive. I’m sure he still has plenty of improvement left in him but Reynolds brings something completely different to the team which is required to win at the business end. Halfbacks like him don’t grow on trees, so I think their sustained success over the next few years is heavily reliant on his fitness. At 33/34/35
If he can stay fit though even if he declines a bit Mam could come up to close the gap
I hate to say it but I honestly just see Penrith doing it again in 24. Players like Martin, Sorrenson, Cleary, FH and their young outside backs just keep getting betterMy hunch is Panthers this year and then Brisbane mature from it and take 2024 & 2025.
Penrith also lose Leniu which isn’t nothing. Only short stints from him but took some pressure off the two starters to have him on bench. Lindsay looks decent but doesn’t bring the change of pace, just a ‘not as good’ prop coming on.I hate to say it but I honestly just see Penrith doing it again in 24. Their main loss will be Critta and they’ll just throw Peachy, May or Almoti in there and probably barely lose anything with their system. I mean they lost one of their best in Api this year and it’s hardly put a dent on them.
Broncos lose Felger, Farnsworth, Palasia and Renny a year older on the wrong side of 30 (whether that’s good or bad thing because he’s currently at the top of his game) I think they will still be very competitive and top 4 but their best chance might actually be now.
Apparently Mam came through as a halfback so if he’s a good student he might be able to learn a lot from ARey - although many of the best control halfbacks don’t master those skills until late 20s and into 30sMam is a really quality player, 21 tries in 37 games is impressive. But you could say that about almost every team and their key player except maybe a Penrith
There's be drinks breaks, an extended half time... Feels like it plays into Penrith's grind-first hands rather than the more free-flowing, open play of Brisbane.35 degrees forecast for Sunday
How early does it start to cool down there? Maybe mid 20s by kickoff?35 degrees forecast for Sunday
Hard to say. Daylight savings starts the night before so it will really be a 6:30pm kickoff, could still be 30 degrees but hopefully not.How early does it start to cool down there? Maybe mid 20s by kickoff?
Here we go, forecast to be about a toasty 28 degreesHard to say. Daylight savings starts the night before so it will really be a 6:30pm kickoff, could still be 30 degrees but hopefully not.
Yeah Kikau last year and Spencer this year, two big losses as far as impact is concerned.Penrith also lose Leniu which isn’t nothing. Only short stints from him but took some pressure off the two starters to have him on bench. Lindsay looks decent but doesn’t bring the change of pace, just a ‘not as good’ prop coming on.
2025 they only have to re-sign or replace May, Turuva, Kenny and various mediocre forwards (Eisenhuth, Hosking, Garner, C Smith) and whoever that Crichton replacement is which should be all pretty doable, cheap and likely half or more of the replacements are resigning or juniors already in their system.
I think Flegler and Herbie will both be able to replaced ‘fine’ in broncos system but two very good players being replaced by two guys who go fine can definitely cost you some wins, especially at the point end.

Wonder how warm it's been in Brissy the last few weeks? Might help them if they've been training in heat. Here we go, forecast to be about a toasty 28 degrees
Big advantage I reckonWonder how warm it's been in Brissy the last few weeks? Might help them if they've been training in heat.
I actually forgot about him. He has been pretty handy for them so he will be a big enough loss them. Penrith these days though I just feel players like him they seem to just find a easy enough replacement in their system somewherePenrith also lose Leniu which isn’t nothing. Apparently they rate that Deine Mariner as a bigger prospect so weren’t all that upset to lose Farnsworth. I do think Farnsworth has had a cracking year, arguably their best outside back. Fleger probably similar to above about Leniu, find the next big angry middle and play him off their benchI think Flegler and Herbie will both be able to replaced ‘fine’ in broncos system but two very good players being replaced by two guys who go fine can definitely cost you some wins, especially at the point end.
Aren’t many players like Leniu - arguably the best ‘impact’ prop in the game.I actually forgot about him. He has been pretty handy for them so he will be a big enough loss them. I reckon Broncos would prefer a dry, fast track so they can throw offloads and move the ball to test out Penrith's edges.Penrith are fit and it get's very hot out in Western Sydney - I reckon non factor
