Nah they Lodged it. Then come r15 they decided despite their terrible season they'd be better off if he left immediately.

We've all seen that. Its what they've seen that we haven't I'd be more interested in knowing. He hasn't been good, not sure he's been "no longer in our plans by r15 please leave" bad though.

my understanding is he wanted to stay and they were going to sign him longer term as they thought jwh was going to leave to england/retire
they signed leinu, then jwh and tapped lodge on the shoulder
since then he has been deflated and his attitude is a problem as he was having a sulk
btw, this is not me sticking up for him, i dont want him at the club, just what i heard
Yeah I did see a quote from him where he basically said that he signed on unders thinking that he'd later receive a contract extension which was more representative of his market value and that it has not ended up happening
