I think Tricky is better than you're giving him credit for here. He's going as well as O'Sullivan was in cup and he transitioned well into firsts full time before his injury. I think Trick can make a good career in the NRL, and there's no reason why decent teams after a half wouldn't be interested in him. Having him, Dykes, even Puru and Atkinson fighting for that future spot has us in a great place.
I dont see where i bagged him though? I love trindall, but hes not gunna be joining a top 8 team as a first choice half….tigers/saints/titans/knights could all use him

Weird because he will be the sharks first choice half alongside Hynes

Clearly that is not the case or he’d be playing every week and not Moylan and the next in line is currently out with a torn ACL so…..

If I misread all good. I read it as he would only be first choice in a bottom side, insinuating that he couldn't bring that team up to a good side. Also a player that moves to the SL to tear it up is usually someone who can't cut it here.

I think any of the ones you mentioned plus Manly, cowboys improve with him in their squad. I don't subscribe to Tricky only being a 7. I think the Titans and Tigers in particular are a good 7 away from moving up a fair bit, and he could do that for them.

Matter of time ; you’d be pretty silly to suggest Trindall isn’t next up

I think he would greatly improve a poor side, i just mean i dont think youll see a Melbourne or a Bunnies reach out to him if that makes sense

Disagree; If he was able to keep his spot in the halves and kept up his form like he did in the first 3 rounds outplaying Moylan like he was then a lot of teams top 8 included would be reaching out

Now he’s stuck not playing at all or in reserve grade so it’s a lot less likely as he’s not getting looked at

It’s not rocket science

I'm not silly or suggesting anything, but it's weird how Tracey plays one good game in first grade and gets signed by another club, yet Trindall can't get seem to get a casually raised eyebrow after leading the side around for the first three weeks. And doing it pretty well.

Tracey got released

Trindall got re-signed

Big difference

More of a the club valuing one player over the other

I think both would if Hughes or Illias moved on. Maybe even if Illias doesn't kick on.

Exactly, if they had an opening. Our team is near top of the table with the best attack in the comp and people want to shuffle our halves? It’s ludicrous. Yeah there may be some positives to trindalls game moylan doesnt have, but the only game i see turning out differently with a hynes/trindall pairing would have been the raiders match.

We’ve lost 2 games with moylan/hynes so far and both were lost due to sloppy defence all over the park more than anything

What L you ****ing knob. Trindall is a fridge first grader at best at any club except a bottom 4 team. If he wasnt, someone else has snapped him up by now. Its that ****n simple

That's because Trindall wasn't there to control Ronnie to catch those kicks vs the Warriors, or to control McInnes/Royce into defending the hooker vs Dolphins
