Tricky's stats yesterday in NSW cup:
1 try 4 try assists 1 offload
21 runs 104m
3 tackle breaks 1 Line break 3 LB assists
11 kicks 265m
14 tackles 5 misses 1 error
I reckon Moylan would post similar of not better numbers if he ran out for newtown.

Less than 75% tackling efficiency is a huge concern there too

team currently has the best attack in the comp, but people think we need changes in the player making role?

Our bigs need to do their jobs a bit better (regardless of injury they all have a job to do when called up).

I dont mind Trindall, in fact i quite like him, but i highly doubt hes the reason we’d start putting 50 on teams every week.

The games we’ve lost werent due to attack

I don't think our bigs have been too bad, all things considered.

For me there are two major issues
  • sloppy play
  • goal line defence
Sloppy play - we are a heavily attack oriented team and our spine skillset leans into that, even our half who I do think can control a game, has an eyes up mentality and is willing to take risks. As a result we have the 3rd worst (by average) error rate - 11.3 per game. Generally we can hold them off and recover, but not always (Warriors game for example, slow scoring in first 40 vs Knights). Moylan has made 6 errors in 11 games. He is not the issue here. Trindall has 3 in 3 games, small sample but not screaming out as an improvement. A symptom of this attacking play is also being equal first on the ladder, with one of the best attacks.

Goal Line Defence - maybe a little worse on left but bad across the park. Moylan contributes to it being bad but so do the men either side of him and plenty of others in the team have been burned. It is very hypothetical that Trindall improves this.

With Hynes in NSW team Trindall gets more chances to audition for a regular spot, if he is so infinitely better surely he will secure it?

With Hynes in NSW team playing off the bench Trindall will get 2 games, against other depleted teams (if they have any out). Im not gauging anything from that.

Trindall/Hynes will happen at some stage, but i dont think that change is really required. I also dont think it improves the team much at all
