Game of 2 halves there.

Soft errors from BHU, Ramien, Katoa and Talakai in that first half really telling of a team that need to learn to be more patient. All came from this need to try and score on every play. On top of that Williams just loves a penalty (thought the tackled in the air one they called was BS though)

Great second half, shut them out plus put on a bunch of tries. No complaints about thst second half at all.

This team can score points. They need to find that balance and use the first stint to wear the opposition down then points will just flow. Stop trying the miracle play every half chance they get

Gonna get shot down for this, but i still wish we could sign a gun centre for the left edge, and move Talakai back to bench
Not only does he provide impact but also provides cover for backline if necessary.
Williams offers nothing imo.

Yep, it's great against the poorer teams and great to watch. Not the type of footy that will win a comp though.

Hard with the cap. We'll have to pay Nicho at least a mill to keep him.

I agree with what your saying HB, and Nicho definitely is worth whatever he gets,
But weve got Tracey, Williams & (daresay) Moylan who are surpluss,
Im not saying go out and pay $800k for a Joey Manu, Justin Olam etc
But feel we could definitely land a good solod ballplaying left edge centre on the coin any of the above names are on.
Ill use Tommy Talau as example.
Off contract for 2024, playing on a **** team currently, and would possibly take unders to go into a team whove got a chance of actually achieving something.

Fixing a problem we don’t have by bringing in a dude who has looked bad even for tigers

Talau looked decent in like 2021

Here are the Dally M votes given in this game:

Dragons v Sharks — 6 - Nicho Hynes, 2 - Blake Lawrie, 2 - Briton Nikora, 1 - Blayke Brailey, 1 - Siosifa Talakai.

So one of the judges think Blake Lawrie was better than Will Kennedy.

And @snowman will love the fact that a judge gave Blayke Brailey a point!

Interesting that they don’t name the judges anymore.

I guess it comes down to who they think did their job better. Lawrie did play big minutes in the middle and stats-wise he had a good game.

Kennedy didn't shine for us as much in second half, because we didn't need him too.
Was one of the players who kept us in the game first half before things clicked but I can understand this good impression fading a bit by end of game.
