They can make us an offer

While Trindall is definitely currently better than Atkinson, Puru, Tracey and Dykes come next year for a good enough trade offer I could imagine a world in which he is expendable.
Dykes is the only one out of that lot you'd keep ahead of Trindall.

I get the feeling based on the stalemate with Will that we see Dykes as a FB though rather than a half.

Naden's gotta be a joke.

My first thought then I remembered how off Ramien everyone is right now and maybe a random different braindead centre is actually appealing to some

Tracey is the perfect 18th man with his versatility, just needs to get game time here and there otherwise he'll be rusty as ****

Also currently was round 1 Jets FB so if we think he is WK backup then we need him playing some games.

Dykes is the only one out of that lot you'd keep ahead of Trindall.

If Trindall was getting offers and wanted out though with another year of Jets under most of their belts we can probably be fine for a backup half.

Agree Dykes looks like being wanted at fullback - firstly was preferred there over Miller, then we signed Puru (a promising half), then we let Miller go, now trying not to offer Will too long. Lot of signs suggesting we see him as a 1.

Be interesting what we've communicated to him regarding a pathway to NRL.

We have Moylan until the end of 2024.

If a club comes knocking soon with an offer including guaranteed starting role I wonder if he agitated for a release?
You'd think Moylan's future would look something like Graham's if we're serious about Trindall being the next man up.
But it all comes down to Trindall I suppose... waiting until 2025 to take the reigns at 6 (or whatever our halves identify as) is probaly the best long term looking move he could make.

lol so this forum has traded out Trindall.

Moylan is 32 this year, if we are trading anybody, and especially to the tigers, they aren't getting the nrl ready 23 y/o number 7

Umm I don't think you'll find many wanting Tricky gone mate.

It's just a hypothetical discussion.

Moylan's future only looks like Grahams if/when Fitz believes he has been soundly beaten for the job.
Graham didn't get moved out of the 13 because Wilton was potentially better. I can only think of one person who doesn't 100% think Wilton was going to be better in that starting jersey this season than Wade would be.
If Trindall can get to that spot then Moylan can move out the way. It isn't unobtainable for Trindall but he'll get closer to it worrying about playing football than he will worrying about him thinking he should be starting.

Klemmer is looking like a good miss. I'm keeping tricky unless a trade involves Api, Douehi, Papalii or Utoikamanu. And there's no way they'd shift any of them.

If they thought he was a good enough halfback Utoikamanu could be a shout.
You have to be 100% sure Tricky will noticeably elevate you though because if he struggles fans would lose their ****.

Souths weren’t and still aren’t sure letting Reynolds go was the right decision.

Right, so no one at Souths are saying it. Didn't think so.

Not sure ow this is relevant to Trindall.
You don’t think there are people at Souths questioning the decision?

Because at some stage Sharks will have to make a call on Moylan.
