Just watched highlights but Gals fight looked pretty boring.
Looked like Hodges just wanted to clinch to avoid punches being thrown and was determined to hold Gal as often as he could and for as long as he could - got a couple warnings for it.
Also kept ducking under punches so they brushed the back of his head and then sooking about it.

Glad Gal went out on a win at least

Ok, this is in the Boxing thread and you may wonder why but it is for a good reason.

I had a kid being signed up this morning for an Electrical apprenticeship with one of our Host employers, huge firm working with Lend Lease on big projects. He is due to start tomorrow.

So this morning he tells us that he can't work past 1pm on his first day or on Thursday or Friday of this week because of a boxing tournament. WTF!!!!!

Seems to think that competing in a boxing tournament is more important that starting his career. He's not even getting paid for the boxing tournament!

Not sure how he's gonna go - he is only 18 and looks about 70kg ringing wet. I reckon I could beat him!

Are you also a super welterweight?

That does seem like something he should have mentioned earlier than now though, or at least been able to explain the importance of enough you agree (qualifiers for a major international or something)

Never thrown a punch ever mate, so no.

Beats me why he chose to tell us the day before he is supposed to start work.

Super Welterweight is the name of the 70kg class, if you're above that class it increases the likelihood you could beat him as you theorised

Yep just when you don't think it can get any lower

Mike should not be disrespecting himself like this. He certainly doesn't need the money anymore, his weed company is doing really well.

Yeah this is pretty dumb
Comes across as obvious to be a scripted finish too
Unless I see a near decapitating strike from Iron Mike (now more recently known for acting than boxing) I’m gunna assume the result was rearranged.

Paul should have gone to WWE like his brother

I'd prefer he disappeared completely but I don't see that happening any time soon.

I have a highly visible "problem child" tattoo which I hate now because of him

Just be thankful you weren't a huge George Foreman fan.... you'd have a grill on your neck right now

Seen videos of Mike Tyson in full training mode for his fight against Jake Paul. 57 years old and is still a ****ing animal.
