Interestingly, Nicho said he did the same injury/calf in the offseason last year. Not sure if that means as in December 2022 or January 2022 or what.
Tear is not specific language. A ‘strain’ is just a very minor tear.Hooper seems to think Nicho has torn his calf, with Nicho saying he might play next week i doubt its a full tear
Ahh gotchaTear is not specific language. A ‘strain’ is just a very minor tear.
The only word you definitely don’t want to see is rupture as that would usually indicate a complete tear
There are just different grade strains. Grade one to three. Grade three is full thickness and could be a rupture. Grade one is a small partial tear.Tear is not specific language. A ‘strain’ is just a very minor tear.

So what does he have? There are just different grade strains. Grade one to three. Grade three is full thickness and could be a rupture. Grade one is a small partial tear.
I don't know. I would assume if he was touch and go to make the first game it would be a grade one.So what does he have?
Yeah no reason to think it isn’t grade one but realistically he could miss 1 week he could miss 3. There are people saying he could miss 6 to 8 or other ****.I don't know. I would assume if he was touch and go to make the first game it would be a grade one.
Id rather we lose the first 2 games of the year without him, than the last 2 thats for sureYeah no reason to think it isn’t grade one but realistically he could miss 1 week he could miss 3. There are people saying he could miss 6 to 8 or other ****.
If he is gunna miss any amount of time like that why would the club pretend he isn’t. What’s the benefit.
If Puru was coming in and you wanted to try keep questions on Nicho instead of him maybe but no need to protect Trindall from being asked about playing halfback for a bit.
Nicho is also absolutely a player I would hold back an extra week unless it was a must win game. If he isn’t sure if he’ll be right by captains run and you don’t need to play him just don’t. Not worth the risk.
Some low grade calf strains can still be up to 4-6 weeks. I think the likely scenario is 2-3 weeks. I would say he will be 50/50 to play next week. I would be more cautious with him given we have a capable replacement with TrindallYeah no reason to think it isn’t grade one but realistically he could miss 1 week he could miss 3. Who said that? Nicho said yesterday hes 50/50 for round 2hopefully the rumours aren’t true. Worst case scenario he could be out for 3-6 months.
Every time I see it someone’s written an even longer time frame for no reasonWho said that? Nicho said yesterday hes 50/50 for round 2
Im fairly sure its just a grade one. My prediction is hes back for round 3 against Canberraa lot of journos are under the impression he has torn his calf. Is so could be our for 3-6 months depending on the severity of it.
3-6 weeks maybe? 3-6 months would be a very severe calf tear. Grade 3 tear/strain is usually 8-12 weeks from my understanding. And if it was that severe chances are surgery would be required immediately i'd imagine. Nicho was talking to the media on Monday, you'd think it'd be pretty obvious if he was that severely injured.a lot of journos are under the impression he has torn his calf. At leastCan't believe he's out for 3-6 years
I’ve heard the next 3-6 generations of his family won’t be able to playCan't believe he's out for 3-6 years
Haha!Can't believe he's out for 3-6 years
