Need more from him this year. Hopefully these head knocks are now behind him and he can have a full season on the field.

Missed a game and a half for a headknock he maintains was fine and he never failed a test of any kind for.
Missed games because he ran too recklessly and some blokes ear fell off.

Was unlucky to miss as much as he did. Hope that's the end of the bad luck!

I hope he goes well as on-field Captain

In regards to who wrote that, I really don't think they have much of a clue or they want to stir the pot. Stating about Hynes, saying that we will unlikely be able to keep him for more then a year because there will be other clubs interested in Hynes. Of course there will, that doesn't necessarily mean that he'll want to leave & join another club. I see him & Fitzzy as the future of the club & they'll be with us for years to come. Probably a Roosters or Penrith fan hoping he'll be joining them later haha.

i thought the same thing. No quotes or anything just phrases like “it’s been reported,” etc. Zero tackle strikes me as forum lurkers who like you said, try to stir the pot and create some discussion.

This might be a hot take, but I'm starting to wonder whether signing Dale was the right call. Not because he's ****, he does his job well without being a guy who makes big plays. More because I don't know if we need to have both him and Cam. They seem to play a very similar role, and both have been talked about in the same light off the field.

I wonder if we had Cam starting at 13 and pumping out 60 or so minutes, whether we still would have seen the same culture shift with him and Fitz, plus had a bit more cash available for a dominant prop or other position upgrades.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, as he is a warhorse, and had a very interrupted year last year. Hopefully he can find that extra bit of sting and grunt he had at Melbourne, as we really need it consistently.

If Fitz's plan was to walk in & have a fair dinkum tilt at the title right away you're probably right. To build, drive & maintain a culture that sets you up for longterm success he's perfect.
